An Elegant Hotel
Pros:

Voco is an elegant hotel. It has the most beautiful interior decoration that I've seen in a hotel...artwork on the walls, wood doors and furniture were all remarkable. The style is calm, dignified, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly a waiter from SriLanka on level HC, and Ali from Kenya on the lobby floor. Our room was large, with comfortable chairs, desk, and beds. There is a restaurant next to a pool on an upper floor. That floor has a large open-air section where you can eat dinner while looking out over the city lights below, in a nice fresh air breeze. One night, due to a party, there was lovely live traditional oud and tabla music at that restaurant.

There is plenty of parking, inside and outside the hotel. The lobby offers good coffee, and a comfortable, spacious place to sit.

The breakfast is extensive, and offers seating both inside and outside.

Cons:

Voco is located in an area of bare ground crossed in various directions by rapid roads. A friend told us the area used to be an airport. From an upper floor, the view is dramatic and attractive, particularly at night, looking out over the city, but walking around the hotel isn't as nice, because there is a general lack of sidewalks, and the local surroundings aren't pretty even though the hotel has a beautiful exterior facade.

It is possible, but perhaps not very safe, to walk north from the hotel along the edge of the road or the road divider, to clusters of nice small apartment buildings with a small grocery store and friendly low-key restaurant on the ground floor, and pedestrian-only spaces between the buildings. Of course, you can always drive from the hotel to a destination by Uber, taxi, or private car. The traffic is slow during rush hour, and progress can be slow.

Overall, we had a great time during our stay, but local transportation was sometimes challenging.

Great clean neat new loved it

Cons:

For a 5* hotel breakfast options are very limited, that being said the available options where great.
Getting an uber can be very difficult as it’s quite isolated.

Cons:

At the 2nd day of my stay, hotel's staff cleaned my room at 05:30 pm. Meanwhile at the 3rd day of my stay, when I entered my room around 6:00 pm, surprisingly my room has not yet been cleaned.
