The hotel facilities are perfect - well thought-through - eye for detail - a very warm bath of customer service at high quality.
The afternoon tea is a lovely welcome to relax and wind down. The free welcome massage is… is a true welcome.

This isn’t a hotel: it’s a masterpiece
Pros:

The most spectacular place I’ve ever stayed. The character, history and vibes are off the charts. It feels like being on the set of a movie or museum that had been waiting for your arrival. I also arrived ill and the staff couldn’t have been nicer, even sending a staff member to a pharmacy to find antibiotics for me. They personalize so much to you, and are seriously so kind and genuine. Even a rainy day here feels cozy, nostalgic and serene. Also the food is fantastic, including the breakfast and afternoon tea.

Truly unique experience in a one of a kind location, with friendly exceptional staff.
Pros:

This hotel is so unique. I booked a couple of nights in Jakarta between flights during my honeymoon and was struck by the beautiful exterior. However, the photos do not do it justice. Even before our stay the staff showed themselves to be extraordinary with a fantastic level of communication and even making sure to ask for my wife's name so that they would be able to properly address her during our stay. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff absolutely blew us away and turned what we thought would be more of a layover into a real highlight of our trip. Everyone made us feel so welcome and at home, like truly honoured guests. It is also worth mentioning the food at both restaurants, including the afternoon tea that we so thoroughly enjoyed. I can't think of anywhere that I have had a tastier meal and the contemporary Indonesian cooking was so fresh and interesting that we felt truly satisfied throughout our stay. We spent so much time eating that there was little room for much else. Regardless, we also greatly enjoyed the spa and particularly the hotel tour, which we would highly recommend. This location is so interesting and has been developed in such a truly unique way that it is unlike anywhere else I have ever stayed. I can't wait to return. Thank you so much for making our honeymoon feel so special!

Pros:

Das Hotel ist wirklich unglaublich. Die Sammlung ist sehr beeindruckend und ist allein einen Aufenthalt wert. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und das Essen in der Stimmung dieses Hotels absolut toll.

Cons:

Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Die Informationen waren teils etwas schwierig zu bekommen, bei etwas spezifischeren Anfragen oder Reiseinformationen etwas unsicher. Der Restaurantservice ist hervorragend.

Un hôtel incroyable !
Pros:

Cet hôtel est incroyable, la décoration est sublime, elle met en valeur l'art indonésien dans toute sa beauté. On a l'impression d'être dans un musée et en même temps une jungle. Le dépaysement est garanti. Le service est parfait, le personnel aux petits soins et d'une grande gentillesse. Chambre très confortable. Le petit déjeuner a vraiment dépassé nos attentes. On gardera un excellent souvenir de cet endroit et clairement cet hôtel a sublimé notre passage à Jakarta.

Amazing Art Museum, Clean and Peaceful rooms
Pros:

Upon entry I did not really know what to think. The super friendly staff welcomed us and we walked a bit further in the hotel. Its an amazing museum with lots of fantastic art collected since 1880. Its full and hectic and you can look everywhere. The rooms have a very clean and calming design. Perfect for a good night rest. Great location if you want to see the old town, which is nice to see for an hour or two.
