The host Camila was super! The room is more suitable for short people, as it is on the loft. There was also a nice cat visiting us and sleeping with us:)
Everything was fine. We had a car (and a small parking space), so we could move easily. Although the use of the kitchen could be in the price of the apartment, but we were informed in advance, so we were prepared:)

An unexpected experience !!! The room was spotless clean !!! Our requests were fulfilled in no time. Very polite housekeeper in a quiet neighborhood. Mostly pleased overall. Free parking around ....

Clean house
House is comfortable and well taken care of, however there is no door to the attic room which is a basic privacy issue for sense of security and also privacy in relation to conversation and integrity of sleep as you can hear people downstairs regularly and they can hear you.
Furthermore, the toilet in the room does not have a door… so neither the toilet or the room have a door between them and the rest of the house.
There is no blinds / curtains to the window which means sleeping-in is difficult after sunrise, which in the summer comes early.
The photos on the listing for the attic room don’t do justice to the lack of headroom available and it is not easy to stand in many areas of the room including the toilet.
The listing advertises a kitchen but the host puts an additional charge of €5 per day to use this. Just put the price of the kitchen up front in the listing or else don’t advertise a kitchen as available on the listing!!
One morning at 0800 music was playing from downstairs and it came up through the open stairway / door!
The Wi-Fi does not work in the attic room!!!
The location in relation to Barcelona city centre is definitely not as high score as the ratings might imply. The house is high up the hill in Tiana and between 20-30 mins walk to the train station if not using the bus which arrives every 20 mins and takes about 15 mins to the train station.
It is a nice quiet residential setting but in terms of tourist access - something to be aware of as it can take put to a combined 1.5/2hrs of your day, each day to get to and from Barcelona city centre without a car.
There is pets in the property (cat and dog) both of whom are friendly animals but for those with allergies etc. to be aware of this.
Like other reviews below, I would be question the accuracy of some of the positive ratings on this property as they do not provide great detail on what makes the accommodation so positive.
The host Camille is excellent and put herself out to help with anything that arose, giving loads of advice and support which made the stay in Tiana so successful. A beautiful house in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood!

The location is in a quiet , safe and beautiful area about ten miles from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona centre .It is easy to travel to Barcelona centre by a regular bus and train journey. Camille ( our host ) is very friendly and extremely helpful with details of places to visit. The house is spacious , comfortable , very modern and clean . There is a lovely garden to relax in and a large kitchen if you want to cook/ prepare your food. Lovely beaches are only a few miles from the property .
Occasional wi fi issues upstairs but good downstairs.
I liked the situation as soon as we arrived until we left because Camille was kind and welcoming right away, large spaces, beautiful bright house, beautiful large and windy garden I will definitely return
Extremely friendly host, wonderful room design, adorable dog and cat, great location if you like to be a bit outside of noisy Barcelona. There are easily reachable mountains to hike, quite beautiful beach in Badalona (one train station away), and a calm local city around. Barcelona is reachable within an hour so you can enjoy it as well.
The host is super helpful and welcoming. It feels more like an Airbnb stay rather than a hotel; there are some rules in the room you should follow and some people (and animals) around. If you don't mind it, this is a perfect place to stay.
One design decision that my partner and I did not particularly enjoy was a completely transparent glass door to the toilet. There are some blind spots in the room, but I would suggest putting a proper door there
Super friendly hostess who is always there to help and advise you. Really recommended.
The house is nice in general
No privacy when it comes to the room as there is no door separating from the rest of the house. And no door to the bathroom and roof tilted so for people as tall as us we could only stand still in one place all over the house...
Very quiet and safe, host welcoming and there was a spot to park my car on the street. There is also an option to park it in the driveway but if you have a large SUV it won't fit or it would be an extremely snug fit which would make it difficult to pass by. No problem with conversing in English if you don't know Spanish.
City of Tiana is very beautiful and it's a short trip to Barcelona as well (~20 min driving slowly).
If you work during the day there's a desk and a chair. Quite a confortable setup!
The bed is very big and comfy.
