Synd på tv:n och wifi då jag bott på detta boende tidigare och var då väldigt nöjd! Tycker detta kunde ha informerats ti

Ligger väldigt centralt och en mysig atmosfär!

Cons:

När jag kom till rummet så var tv:n trasig då någon såg ut att ha våldfört sig på tv:n🤔 Wifi fungerade inte heller på rummet, gick jag utanför rummet så hoppade det igång men väl inne i rummet så tappades kontakten! Jag ringde boendet och delgav detta och killen jag pratade med skulle ringa chefen för att se om jag kunde byta rum men det var fullsatt så inget byte kunde göras, så ändå nöjd att man försökte lösa situationen!

Prisvärt och väldigt bra läge samt välstädat
Pros:

Läget var utmärkt, rummet hade allt jag behövde (skrivbord med bra stol för att studera; kylskåp och skön säng). Det fanns även ett element som jag kunde sätta på för att öka värmen på rummet

Det hade varit önskvärt med öronproppar som man kunde få utav boendet. Alternativt att det skulle framgå som ett tips vid bokning. Detta eftersom kylskåpet lät en del

Zero security or safety measures, no duty of care for guests

Cons:

During my stay, a guest in the neighbouring room had a psychotic episode, screaming he would 'kill them' banging on the walls, shouting in the corridor that 'they would burn in the fire' this went on for hours. It ramped up to screaming and swearing, threats of violence and death.

The room I was in had no escape except past his room, so I was trapped too scared to leave as he was utterly deranged and physically aggressive. There are no staff based at the premises, so I was ringing the number they give you repeatedly to no reply. I wanted to know if I could escape out the fire escape, but no one answered or called me back. I emailed them (the only other contact you have) saying they should not send any cleaning staff alone and that I was going to contact the police, and then I just ran for it. I got outside and just cried and cried I was so terrified and relieved to be out.

Speaking to the police the guest was already known to them. I didn't go back to the hotel and booked another place to stay because I was too frightened, I asked a burly male friend to collect my belongings. That was yesterday, and I still have not had a single word or reply from the hotel. Even to check that I am OK. I appreciate they cannot predict guest behaviour, but as an absolute minimum I would expect they show an interest in their guests' safety. But not a word.

I would not recommend this place at all. No concern for safety, no duty of care for guests, and they are clearly aware of this individual and still placed me in the next door room, on a narrow corridor with no other access or escape. There is no ID etc required to book or stay so there is clearly no vetting or oversight. Avoid at all costs!!!!
