Pros:

I really enjoyed the room and property itself. Very chic colonial style. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the pool was not on site. I booked the property with the idea in mind that I will have easy access to the pool. But that’s not the case.

que no hubiera jabonera. No me gusta colocar el jabon de manos en la mesada... me da pena que s enchastre. tal vez poner botellon con jabon liquido idem ducha.

Relaxing stay in historic Colonia
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located in the old city and within walking distance of everything. The rooms are spacious, the common areas lovely, and the breakfast choices were good and varied. The rooftop deck was a great hangout spot in the evening.

El chico que nos recibió a la mañana , por ejemplo no nos informó que durante el día , pasando a un cuarto que no se ve desde la entrada , había disponible agua , café, té durante todo el día … es básica esa información si existe la opción !!! Además está en un lugar que es el mismo que desayunador , si no te informan a nadie se le va a ocurrir entrar allí en un horario que no sea desayuno , y también encontramos en el cuarto una botella de agua vacía .. que nos llamó la atención , atentos !!! Vayan abajo y llenen ustedes las botellas … es todo muy raro , pedimos cuarto silencioso … nos alejaron en un segundo piso , pero teníamos un tanque de agua que toda la noche prendía motor haciendo bastante y apaga cada 5 o 6 minutos …

Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, das Zimmer (Exekutive Suite) war geräumig und hatte eine kleine Terrasse. Die Betten waren gut.
Die Möglichkeit, das Frühstück draußen im Patio einzunehmen hat uns gefallen.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer lag direkt neben der Rezeption, die alte Tür bot quasi keine Schallisolierung, man hatte das Gefühl man liegt direkt neben der Rezeption.
Das Frühstück war hinsichtlich Obst, Tee und Kaffee gut, beim Aufschnitt (Käse, Schinken) für mich nicht befriedigend, aber im Vergleich mit anderen frühstücken in Uruguay ok.

Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, and great location!
Pros:

Great location for exploration, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The breakfast was very nice, with freshly made eggs, and coffee/water is available throughout the day! The rooftop was very nice to chill after a day in the town. Also, the building itself is very pretty and well-maintained.

Cons:

The rooms were a bit noisy but expected in an older building.

Extrem hellhöriges und einfaches Hotel
Pros:

Das Bett war bequem und die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut.

Cons:

Das Casa Lahusen gleicht dem Standard eines 2 Sterne Hotels. Wir hatten eine Executive Suite mit Patio oder Balkon gebucht und haben ein Zimmer (No 2) direkt an der belebten (Kopfsteinpflastern) Strasse - wo u.a.die Müllabfuhr pünktlich morgens um 6.00 Uhr vor dem Fenster hält - ohne Austritt erhalten. Das gesamte Hotel (egal in welchem Zimmer) ist extrem hellhörig und nachts extrem laut. Es ist einfach eingerichtet aber die Betten sind bequem. Für die zweite Nacht hat man uns ein kleineres Zimmer (ohne Kompensation trotz Nachfrage!) im oberen Stockwerk mit kleinem Balkon angeboten. Das hatte allerdings die Ausrichtung zu einem lokalen Club, der ab 22:00 Uhr bis morgens um 3:00 Uhr laute Livemusik gespielt hat. Es ist ein altes Haus, und die Fenster sind definitiv nicht schalldicht. Für alle, die gerne nachts Party machen und Geräusch unempfindlich sind, ist dieses Hotel geeignet. Der angepriesene Safe in den Zimmern ist nicht montiert, sehr klein und leicht und jederzeit mitnehmbar.
