Tolles Hotel in einem wunderschönen Ort
Pros:

Super schönes Hotel, Lage etwas außerhalb vom Ort aber das weiß man ja vorher

Cons:

Das Personal beim Frühstück war wirklich nicht auf zack.
Kaffee dauerte ewig und kam auch erst nach mehrmaligen Rückfragen.

Pros:

super mooi en schoon hotel, heel vriendelijk personeel en de ontbijtzaal was prachtig in een oude bierbrouwerij echt heel gaaf en goed ontbijt. dicht bij het stadje en de wijntram.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms

The property, rooms, the pool, gym and the grounds were beautiful. My room and bathroom were big and comfortable. I had a lovely stay and wish I could have stayed longer. It was my birthday and they left a plate with happy birthday written on it with chocolate covered strawberries :).

Cons:

The staff were generally great, however I did have one disappointing experience with the restaurant.

Earlier in the day I checked what time the restaurant closed and was told that the kitchen closes at 9:30pm (the same for room service), while the bar/restaurant closes at either 10pm or 10:30pm.

That evening I was dealing with an emergency back home, while my friends were at the restaurant. As I hadn’t eaten since lunchtime, my friend attempted to place an order for me shortly before 9:30pm (around 9:20pm) while I was on my way there, but she was told it was already too late to order.

When I arrived just before 9:30pm, I asked to speak to a manager and was eventually able to place an order. I don’t usually complain, but it was frustrating given that I had specifically checked the kitchen closing time earlier in the day and had not eaten.

If the kitchen closes at 9:30pm, orders should still be accepted up until that time rather than being stopped earlier, particularly as room service is not available throughout the night.

Niet zo luxe en teleurstellend
Pros:

De natuur rondom het hotel en tussen de receptie en hotelkamers in is echt prachtig! Overal waar je keek zag je bergen.

Cons:

We waren best teleurgesteld in onze vakantie:
1. Toen we in onze hotelkamer aankwamen, was de vloer nog vies. Iets van de vorige gast lag op de grond, veel stof... Het leek niet schoongemaakt. Daarnaast spoelde de douche ook niet goed door.
2. We hadden allemaal baby spinnetjes op de plafonds zitten. En niet 3, maar minstens 30 die om en om naar beneden kwamen uit de lucht.
3. Het personeel is grotendeels vriendelijk, maar de meesten gedragen zich alsof ze het niet naar hun zin hebben. Dat heeft helaas gewoon impact op je eigen verblijf.
4. Het ontbijt vonden we erg tegenvallen. Geen menu (wat in sommige reviews nog wel terugkomt), maar een heel beperkt buffet waarbij je soms 20 minuten moest wachten op weer een nieuwe schaal ei. Daarnaast werd er ook niets vers voor je gemaakt (zoals bijv. een omelet) en dat is wel het level ontbijt wat we bij andere hotels in deze prijsklasse gewend zijn. De koffie was ook niet heel lekker.

Simpelweg niet wat je van het 'luxe' hotel verwacht en achteraf vond ik het niet het geld waard.
