HOTEL THE BOTANIK SEWOON MYEONGDONG

If you're looking to stay close to the action in Myeongdong but want to stay somewhere quiet and laid back, this is the place for you.
They also have a grocery store on the second floor by the reception so it's really convenient.
I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Seoul.

We loved staying here! The hotel is so clean and new feeling. The location is good to take a quick taxi or about a 20 minute walk to Myeongdong street. The property around the hotel looks like it was destroyed by a fire or something but they seem to be working on cleaning it up and there are nice barricades so you don’t see it when you are walking past. I would stay here again! We used the gym everyday and it was always in top shape. The breakfast was very good! The rooms are small but I think that is normal when staying in Seoul. We loved our stay!

Room was clean but didn’t appear as advertised especially with the view from our room. There is noticeable construction going on around the hotel that was not mentioned.

Very convenient for transportation and dinning options.

This hotel was amazing, clean and perfect, first time visitng Korea, but if I visit again, I will definitely book here!

This was by far our favorite place we stayed while in Seoul. We booked a suite, and it had everything we could possibly need. It was comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped. It’s an excellent choice for families and ideal for both short- and long-term stays.

love the overall cleanliness of the hotels, bedsheets, towels etc…the suite is spacious for family of 4 … love all the update amenities and plenty of storges

Staff service was excellent. Hotel and room was very clean.

Comfortable stay, friendly staff, good amenities and good location for easy to access transit. Rooftop garden had good views of the city and the nearby construction. Room may have some issues with removing moisture, the second bedroom had musty scent.

There are 2 convenience stores nearby which was indeed convenient. Hotel staff were great assisting with check in and checkout. Loved the full size fridge and storage options in the room. The washer was nice and having a drying rack was great. I didnt lovw how dim the kitchenette area was. We had to leave the bathroom door open and occasionally get the entrance light to turn on just so we can see. The coin operated luggage storage was a bit disappointing, instead of them storing it for free. I understand that it would be very chaotic for a hotel of that size but still a bummer. Didn't have a car but free parking is nice for those who do. Good location for easy transit though not a whole lot of things to do in the direct vicinity. Overall it was nice.

New hotel but not ready for prime time. It’s in the middle of a redevelopment area, old businesses being torn down. Limited dining, no Starbucks! Breakfast is good. A bit far from tourist attractions. Access by subway lines 2 and 5, use airport limo bus if you have luggage. Limo bus stops at Kukdo Hotel which is a short five minute walk. Rooms have a small kitchen with microwave and washing machine. ATM in lobby. No pool, beds are good with daily housekeeping.

Once you’ve orientated yourself, you’ll realise the location is convenient. For first timers, it may feel just slightly away from the buzz of busier shopping streets but the quieter scene is not a bad thing. It’s tucked right amongst local businesses. There aren’t as many food options right downstairs but if you’re happy to walk a block or two, you’ll hit plenty. Safe location and easy access to metro. Convenience stores downstairs are handy.

The rooms including bathroom are large by Seoul standards. The kitchenette and laundry is ideal for traveling families. Clean bedding and water provided each day.

Very efficient check-in and check-out process. Staff are professional and helped us with a smooth transition for our bookings.

Great hotel and location. 20 minutes walk to myeongdong street. There is a subway station just right outside the hotel . And ok breakfast both traditional and western options .

We like this hotel, everything about it is good, except some temporary construction works nearly.
We will back to hotel next time we are in town.

Every essentials and transport were easily accessible from
Hotel Botanik. staff and convenient store personels were friendly and easy to communicate in English

Not much to do around the immediate area but the location has easy access to lots of transit which is super helpful. You can also walk like 15 minutes to Ikseon-dong which has lots of yummy food.

Amazing stay

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our 12-night stay at Hotel the Botanik Sewoon! Its location, staff and amenities are superb! All areas are well-attended and super clean. The breakfast buffet that can be purchased is stellar with as much variety as one could want! We highly recommend this hotel! The only criticism is the strange and inconvenient placement of the television in the Botanik Signature Suite. Otherwise, we were very impressed and comfortable.

It was a great stay! Super convenient to take public transport and getting around the city! Right next to the stream too which is a beautiful walk. The room did feel a bit stuffy and humid even it’s the air on.
