awful it was so dirty we could not stay
The host didn’t know we were coming, they were welcoming but that’s about it. I have never been to a pub where you can’t get a pint off draft ale as they have no draft beers it’s only bottled beer. The carpet was not hoovered. The bed is not comfortable with dips in it. The shower was not very hot. The carpet has stains all over it. They didn’t have a bottle opener. The stair carpet was disgraceful. The pub needs money spent on it and the hosts were not thee right People for the job. The pub was closed at 10PM. Would we stay there again definitely not and I hope somebody listens to these comments. It seems to me that they are running the pub down. O and the toilet I had to clean as it was dirty.

We booked and pre-paid three rooms for a business trip. When we arrived, we were told that they did not have a reservation for us and when we showed the email confirmation, we were told that they did not work with Hotels.com and that they did not have the rooms available. We were able to resolve the situation eventually, but not a pleasant nor welcoming experience!
Generally not very inviting and all carpets very badly stained, also room was very cramped and badly maintained
A party of 9, venue didn't have a clue that 3 of us had booked. My room incredibly noisy with motorised heat pump on outside wall 24/7, used soap with pubic-hairs in the shower and mouldy grouting. Food was very expensive for tiny portions and the kitchen couldn't cope with 12 diners on a Sat, so was served cold. Staff member spotted cleaning teeth in the food prep sink. AVOID
