The room was not cleaned very well. The entire end of the building where I was smelled of dogs and smoke! There no cold water in the sink, there was rust in the tub. Dog(?) fece at the back door. Very noisy.
I don't even think this place should be considered a hotel. This place is riddled with individuals who are smoking, drinking by the exits, and some shady characters. I was approached by someone who locked my car in it's parking lot and started staring at me. If it wasn't for who I was raised to become, the situation would've been fatal. The individual was upset over a situation that had nothing to do with me, and after having to calm him down, he understood that I was not there to cause any trouble. Look, I understand there are people down on their luck, but this hotel is more of a shelter that rents out the rooms for $100+ a night. If I paid less than I would've paid, then I could say you get what you paid for, but that is not the case for this place. They charge you 3 star prices for a russian roulette style of "How would you like to be assaulted today, by an upset man or drunk and high residents?".
If I had to say something positive, at least they had hot water. But I do not recommend this place at all unless you want to pay $100 to play with your life.
Although usually the place is good for the price, clean and near a good location right outside of Philadelphia. At 2 am the fire alarms started sounding and we were ordered outside by the fire department. The walls full of asbestos started to fall down, and there was no communication from the hotel staff.
The whole situation was handled terribly. This has to do with the staff and not the police or firefighters who were very professional.
It worked for the few hours I needed to stay but the room was pretty dirty. The bathroom had dirt on the floor and the shower was not clean. The floor had some stains/dried liquid that was visible. The beds were clean but one of the blankets had multiple holes in it that looked like cigarette burns? The whole room also smelled like smoke which is not good when the place is labeled non-smoking.
The bank door locks of the hotel were broken so people came and went. The halls were dirty and the room although generally clean I have pictures of dirty areas in the bathroom. However what can you expect for a cheap price. IT was a small trade off fora good price. However you would think the doors would lock.
Pool is always empty. Room we booked days prior was not available and we had to get a one bed room with 4 people. Hallways smelled like smoke and rooms were basic and had a gross, dirty feeling. We left. And got a refund.
Entire property was filthy and smelled bad, including a strong odor of pot. Security doors were propped open.
No Internet for three days. Hurts my business got $10 a day back that’s nothing.
Ok
Well, didn’t expect much and that’s what we got. Room served its purpose, though when you flushed the toilet, water came up from the drain in the tub kinda nasty.
All of the exterior doors are propped open with rocks so people can come and go and not locked and secured. There was a dead bug under the bed sheets and the mattress is stained horribly. This place obviously caters to long term live in people and I can hear them fighting with their kids in other rooms. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. I did not even bring in my bags because I’m trying to not get bed bugs.
Place is a dump. Hallways dirty. Ceiling tiles missing. All doors leading to outside are left open. Bath tub dirty. Place was simply a dump
The room was on the side that looked like people were living in the rooms. The floor was dusty. There was no iron in the room. We chose to not get the room clean just to protect our stuff.
.
Terrible
No surprise, MOTEL 6 is a budget operation. But even compared to other Motel 6's or other budget stays, this one was awful. Missing the couch. Ironing board leaning against the wall, but no Iron. Sink backed up. When I removed the stopper, water started hitting the floor because the pipes leaked. Lots of folks hanging out in the hallways all day long. Don't know what's up with them, but it was creepy.
