Very nice. Rooms nice and clean. Nice breakfast offered. Staff very kind , welcoming and helpful.
Great place to stay Staff was great.
This was an older hotel that got a paint job. The room was nice, we were just there to sleep. There were resturants around the hotel as well as a mall with more resturants down the road. We were there to visit the Air Force Museum which was about a 10 minute drive. The door getting into the room was very tight. I had to give it a really hard push every time. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was mounted a bit high for my son, they also put the lotion in front of the soap which made it more difficult. The shower was a bit finicky, the water didn't get very hot and about 5 minutes into a shower the pressure would drop dramaticlly. This happened both in the morning and evening. The breakfast was free, which was nice. But the options were lacking. The bagles were very hard. My son enjoyed the muffins though. I did see you could buy a breakfast sandiwch from the case and microwave it. I'd stay here again if I had to, but I'd probably choose another hotel first.
Hilton diamond member for life the first time I’ve stayed at a Spark hotel very pleased with the experience very nice hotel for the money and staff was very polite and accommodating
Had a great stay with friendly environment and staffs. Highly recommended. Will visit again.
Had great stay! staff were really friendly. Will come back again for sure.Highly recommended.
Hotel was nice, new clean. We booked because inexpensive and said there was indoor pool. It was closed, under construction. This should have been noted on their website. We would not have booked this hotel. Call ahead!
Stayed here for graduation. Clean stay. Had unique breakfast which was bagel bar.
Really loved my stay at Spark Hotel! The location was super convenient close to Wright Patterson Base and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.
When I arrived to check in at the hotel I found it closed for renovations.
Clean
Clean hotel, refurbished
Do not expect the same hotel as is listed! It has changed names and is not what is or was at one time. I had been there several times and great place 10 out of 10 but now it has been changed to a lesser value or quality.
Terrible experience. the elevator was shut down, but it was left open. The door would slowly open then slam shut. The panneling on the inside was torn off. it was like something out of a horror movie. There was no ice machine. There was no coffee or breakfast. There was no open pool. We were told we needed to go to a different hotel for the amenities promised by this one. A weird beeping sound went off in our room from 4 am - 8 am. The hallways had no working AC and were sweltering hot. The AC in our room did not work.
This hotel looks like it should have been condemned. it is truly like something out of a horror story. they also charged 100$ for a deposit, and took over double the amount promised to get it back. I'm persuing a refund for our stay, because honestly it was terrible. We have been trying to get ahold of management for about a week now. We keep getting promises of a call back but nothing.
Avoid this hotel. There are several others in the area. Dont go to this one.
This hotel is old and run poorly. The sheets smelled like someone had sweated in them. The room I was in has tons of mold to the point I could smell it and my clothes in my duffle bag were damp from just sitting on the floor. Lastly, my friends son was using the pool, slipped and injured himself. The staff would not let the mother see the incident report yet emailed it to her and there were so many lies in there. The pool area is unsafe and not up to code. My friends son was not running or doing anything he shouldn’t have been as we were there watching them and reminding them not to do anything they shouldn’t.
I wish they would’ve let me know I had to pay a $100 deposit even after I payed for the room. I didn’t know I had to pay a deposit on top of pay for the room I spent my last $120 on the room due to an emergency and had to ask a friend to cover the deposit because they wouldn’t even issue a refund.
They don't have breakfast
I'd give 0 starts if that was an option. I should have known something was off when we were the only car in the lot at 5 pm.
They are apparently in the middle of renovations which closed every amenity with no warning on the website. The pool was disgusting, closed, and the only reason we were there on that 104° day. In order to have the breakfast (supposed to be included with our stay) we were instructed to walk across the two adjoining parking lots, to a separate hotel. We were told we could swim there as well, trekked over and got told their pool was also closed.
The first room we were given had been empty so long a spider made a web in the bathtub, which also had several handfuls of dirt inside it. I washed my hands and the water didn't drain back down the sink. The ACs hardly worked. The whole hotel was hot, muggy, and smelly.
They also ripped off the name from the hotel on the Air Force Base nearby & at first GPS took us there!
Front desk was hardly helpful, the second room was also disgusting, hot, with uncomfortable beds.
Hands down the worst excuse for a hotel I've seen and I've been traveling all my life.
I thought I was booking the Wrigjt Patterson Inn by the college, instead they put us in the Hampton Inn which they are remodeling. No room service, no phone in room, no pool and we had to go to other hotel for breakfast which was super inconvenient. If I would have known that I would have booked someplace complete different.
This property is completely under construction. Pool closed. No refrig. No Microwave in room. No ice machines. No breakfast. We understand that we may be able to use the neighboring motel in the morning. The room was 91 degrees when we entered. I don't recall seeing any of this information when booking a room. The front desk person was very nice and helpful but this will be a disappointing stay.
