One night for a nearby wedding
Pros:

We were attending a wedding 4 miles away and was the closest we could find. Quite tired and in need of some TLC and modernisation. Exterior is not inviting and Brandon itself has changed a lot since last here. Our room was in a separate building the road. Fine if it’s a one off for somewhere to put your head down.
Ample parking and friendly staff. Be mindful that Hotels.com stated breakfast was included but it wasn’t so need to take that up with the booking agent.

Great place.Easy check in. Very nice room with new en-suite. Everywhere was clean. Very nice breakfast.
Great value and would recommend.
Oh and the hotel’s setting by the river was superb as well

A good place to stay
Pros:

Really helpful and reactive team, Also good breakfast and choice. If you are in a room on the front of the property the road is quite noisy. otherwise very good. easy parking too.

There was nobody at the hotel it was closed at 10pm I and my wife we had to travel back home after a day at a wedding travel 122 miles back home in the middle of the night no where to stay we had to travel home.

Pros:

The room that I had booked was very correctly described as facing a main road. This did not bother me as I am partially deaf and I simply slept on my left side which blanked out the noise. The hotel itself was excellent and had a river alongside with a walk along this.

Made to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area.
