Baker Street Apartments

There were dead bugs in the kitchen cabinets, dirty sheets, flaking paint, and mold on the bathroom ceiling. We booked an apartment with 9 beds and got a basement with 4 beds. There was no air conditioning and no ventilation. Wetries to go elsewhere, but could not find an available hotel.

Nails sticking out of the floor, in main bedroom with 3 beds, tap in kitchen was loose, smoke alarm was hanging down with no battery. No ventilation in bathroom. No microwave. No instructions for tv, couldn’t even get local channels. Only 2 coat hangers.

When we arived we have to wait for keys 30 mints .no body at property to well com .the rooms i haved cant open windows we r in basement. Fully dump smell.tv a d net not working no ventilation in property. Keep ringing the onwer not answered. This morning when we left this no one to collect the key from us.keep ringing the owner he never answer.at last we left in electric bord.my advised to dont book this property

A little disappointing, no AC or fans. Only way to cool the apt off was too sleep with the windows open but all night the noise from cars, trucks, people going thru the trash dumpster just outside the windows made it hard to sleep. This was a four bed apartment booked for 3 people for 4 nights an apartment with the idea it'd be more room and comfortable than a hotel room. There were the four beds and only two chairs in the whole place so you're sitting on your bed. There were two wardrobes to hang your clothes, one was completely blocked by the nights stand so it was unusable the second one had 2 hangers in it, 2! For three people, 4 days. The night before we left I messaged the owner as to what to do with keys, just put back in the key box I got them from? He replied yes. So at 5am I walk downstairs and outside with my luggage to lock the keys in the box, guess what no key box, it had been removed! My Uber is waiting and I have nowhere to leave the key. Unbelievable. The apt was on the third floor the only way to it was a very steep and narrow wrapping staircase. Wouldn't stay again, my bad for booking without asking more questions as the description was lacking details.

DO NOT STAY HERE — Horrible Experience!

This property was a nightmare from start to finish. The apartment was extremely dirty and outdated — stained carpets, cabinet doors falling off, and cheap, uncomfortable beds.

Day 1: No hot water.
Day 2: The shower stopped working.
Day 3: A leak from the upstairs bathroom poured through our ceiling.

We reported each issue to the host daily. On the third day, while we were out, the host allowed a so-called “maintenance” person to enter the apartment without our permission. When we returned, we discovered our jewelry had been stolen.

Despite multiple attempts to contact the host, he has ignored all calls and texts.

This was a HORRIBLE experience — please do yourself a favor and avoid this property at all costs.

Very Negative Review – Terrible Experience, Do Not Recommend

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. We were robbed inside the hotel, losing a large amount of money and having our Visa cards stolen, both mine and my friends’.

Even worse, the hotel management showed no concern at all and did absolutely nothing about it. Their response was cold and completely unprofessional.

The hotel is very old and unsafe, with no security cameras, making it a perfect place for theft. The blankets were extremely dirty, and the floors were infested with bugs. There was no sense of comfort or cleanliness.

In short, I would never recommend staying at this hotel under any circumstances. Safety, hygiene, and respect are completely lacking. A terrible experience we will never repeat.

It’s in the middle

Great location; basic but comfortable clean and spacious can be noisy with other residents arriving late or leaving early.

The place was in a basement that was filthy and full of mold. My daughter is asthmatic and was coughing and having breathing trouble. Even we had scratchy throats and stuffy noses for hours afterward. I called and called and they would not answer even though they responded minutes earlier when we needed to enter the property. Do not book, this place is hazardous to your health!
