Good location, room was secure, clean and spacious. Staff were friendly & helpful. I recommend.
Everything about this place is great. Nice clean bunks and friendly helpful staff. I enjoyed staying there and meeting other travellers. Nice friendly vibe and free tea and coffee available throughout the day.
Pros:
Location is excellent. Right in the heart of old town. Staff was excellent and always helpful. Nice breakfast. Great place if in your 20s.
Opportunities for improvement:
The whole place smells like mold (be aware of this). We had a private room with balcony, however there is a karaoke bar next door that blasts music into the morning. Just FYI.
WiFi spotty. The WiFi in the rooms was very unpredictable and very slow/weak at best. Rooms do not have streaming smart TVs so you’re stuck with local channels. (*Note, If I had seen these comments when booking, I would have ignore them. But after 2 months of travel in east Asia we’ve learned, the hard way, that strong WiFi in the rooms is an absolute must in 2025. )
Keep this in mind when booking. You will NOT be able to check emails, make WhatsApp calls or buffer a Netflix/Youtube program in your room.
Hospitality in Vietnam is a big piece of their culture. We’ve learned that staff have a high desire to serve and make guests feel at home, if I had to do it again, I would spend a few more dollars and book a place in a very similar location, but with better cleanliness and amenity.
Stayed 2 nights deluxe double room with balcony city view, but we did not get the balcony, we got big windows with city view at 6 floor. Our room needed TLC, 3 large water stain on the ceiling, is like Michael Angelo sistine chapel. The bed not very comfortable, 1 pillow per person, 1 pillow is soft and the other is firm. Danny is very helpful. The WIFI is a bit weak on and off. The hot water doesn’t stay too hot, taking a bath with Look warm water. The room is very depressing, I was very disappointed, not like the photo posted online. Great location!
Chambre spacieuse et très propre, personnel attentionné et bienveillant.
Excellent séjour en famille, grande chambre propre, petit déjeuner de qualité, personnel bienveillant. Très bien situé, au coeur de l'animation d'Hanoï.
The location is amazing. Walking distance to the Hanoi Beer Street, the Weekend Night Market and other great restaurants, cafes and shops. The room we had was spacious with a nice view of the town. It has two big and comfortable bed with essential amenities like towels and slippers. The restroom has a bath tub that my kids enjoyed a lot after long tours under the sun. The only issue was the ref was not getting cold enough to store food on it. On the other hand, the staff is very nice and helpful and they serve really big breakfast that powered us the whole day. Overall, I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends visiting Hanoi soon.
