Sosuite at The Onyx - Museum District

Very clean, noisy due to freeway.

I paid for the early check in only to find out the room hadn’t been cleaned and terrible communication with the house staff as they had not been made aware of my arrival. They did not provide any clean bath towels either.

The place was very clean but it is in an area where it’s very loud. The view from the bedroom overlooks the highway. You can easily see the sunset/rise. Overall you will be listening to the ambulance, firetrucks and police cars all night.

On arrival no clean linen or towels. No coffee. Notified the owners but no response. Door entry number was changed during my stay.

Room was clean! It was listed to have toiletries and they had shampoo, conditioner, and lotion but no soap. We had trouble getting in first. The initial email included a code but we received an email with an updated code that didn’t work. We used to code from the initial email and it worked.

Excellent room. Very clean. Beautiful apartment. Cozy. Nice view. Quiet area. Hard to find at first.

Great location. Parking next door is pretty affordable for downtown area. Great rooftop view.

If you're considering the Onyx, don't! Yes, the pictures look nice...thats about as good as it gets. You will hear everything all of your neighbors are doing, clearly and in detail. You might as well be in the room with them. This is at every moment of every day. Add to that they're attracting a low level Dollar General customer base (think parties, screaming, etc) and you've got all the makings of a terrible stay. Trust me and find somewhere else!

This was a great place to stay - walking distance from the train station; walking distance to museums & access to public transport. We were there one night, so didn't access the kitchenette, but it was well equipped & would be great for a longer stay.

Wonderful location for museums. Terrible experience woth both key pads. Neededto routinely enter code 4-5 times order to enter both the buildi g and the suite.

My only complain would be that check in was a bit confusing and bc of roadworks it was a bit difficult to enter the property. Otherwise it was fantastic and will stay here again if I come back to Philly!

My Boyfriend and I enjoyed our time at this location.
It is conveniently located right off the highway, as well as right next to two parking garages. Check-in was a breeze.

I will say our main grievance is the noise control.
There is not a lot of insulation between the walls, so we could hear our neighbors next door during the day and the ones above us when they walked around their apartment in the middle of the night.

The apartment is spacious, and the kitchen was very nice to have, especially if you plan to stay in the city for multiple days. The price was affordable compared to a lot of the hotels in the area as well.

Clean, peaceful and ultra modern. A little pricy. Great last minute rental. Safe environment with kind, friendly, respectful fellow guest and helpful staff.
