Well situated, within walking distance of shops, stations and park.
Shower could be cleaner, under the bed and sofas, looks like it has not be cleaned for months. We arranged to drop luggage early, staff there had no idea. No hot water (including shower) or heating for 2 days, said they repaired it, but they hadn't (request for partial refund due to this rejected).
This was a cute clean apartment with comfy beds; however I would not stay again. The main concern was the moldy bathroom. We had to keep the vent fan on to keep the mold smell out of the rest of the apartment. The other issue we had was that there were no comforts of home. You could not close the bedroom door. There were zero comforts such as tea, coffee or sugar. There weren’t even any light bulbs in any of the lamps. No clothes iron. The housekeeping was lacking also. We ran out of toilet paper and no extra was left in the room. We notified management and it took from 9 am until 3 pm for them to get us some. We had no hand towels or kitchen towels. I can say the place was pretty quiet and it was just two blocks to restaurants and shopping so that was a plus.
The staff is really responsive and helpful. The apartment is good for us. Warmth and cozy.
+ Relatively quiet area with good amenities
+ Cooking facilities, kettle, toaster, crockery & cutlery
+ Wardrobe with hangers
+ Bed relatively comfortable and fresh bed linen ( - even though I found a couple of hairs on it)
+ Bath had hot water on the 4th floor (not guaranteed in London!) and towles, toilet paper, soap
- Terrible phone connection in front of property to receive instruction to enter/check-in; and message to get key confusing (plus not addressed to me but someone else)
- Stairs pretty much unaccessible - escape hazard due to dirty towels, vacuum cleaners, matresses etc blocking the way up - so you are forced to take the small lift
- TLC required
- No table/chair to sit except on bed - which gets uncomfortable especially when wanting to eat dinner
- & + No hairdryer in room at arrival but was brought to the door within an hour
- Bring coffee/tea and a kitchen towel if you intend to use the cups
- Some noisy visitors upstairs ruined the first night, but I guess that's pretty normal for London too!
Very convenient to Heathrow
Arrived with no towels or WIFI. Hand towels never did arrive as promised and got a note 2 days in that they don’t provide those suddenly?! WIFI starting working on last day after complaining many times. Apartment was on the 5th floor but the elevator only went to 4th floor so then had to drag heavy luggage up a very narrow spiral staircase. Asked for assistance getting a taxi for our checkout as we didn’t have a phone and lack of WIFI and was told no. Front door to building often found open.
First of all, a positive - the location of this apartment is fantastic. Close to several Underground stations and Paddington train station is a 15-minute walk away. Lots of souvenir shops, super markets, and international food choices near by. Location-wise, I'd choose this area again. The management was friendly and let us drop off our luggage early before check-in time.
Now come the stuff about the apartment. On paper, Warm Apartments look like they have all the hardware (appliances). In fact they do have a kitchen, washer/dryer, but missing many small details. For example, no hand towels for the bathroom, no tea towels and dish cloths for the kitchen. No bulbs in all of the lamps.
Be prepared to wait for them to show up when checking in.
Overall, if you need a stopover stay, it'll work. But I don't recommend it.
Wifi did not work throughout my stay despite raising the concern multiple times to the customer service. We accommodated their request to let them know 30 minutes before we arrived to check-in, however they still had us waiting on the sidewalk for an hour. Very poor staff, and sadly would not recommend or stay again
First of all the apartment was way smaller than it looked in the photos, thankfully it was cleaned well before we checked in. Even though we had inform the agency of our check in time, we had to wait around 30-40 minutes extra outside when we arrived for someone to come and let us in. The external door needs some repairs, as it felt like we would break the key each time we were trying to come in.
E Mail advised to contact the staff with eta or 30 minutes before arrival. I text and made 2 calls but the person i spoke to did not seem to understand what i was saying. I had to phone again when we arrived and had to wait outside. A man arrived and did not acknowledge or communicate with us. Neither did a woman who was cleaning inside the apartments. Eventually a man came and pleasantly but briefly told us to leave keys he gave us on the side when we leave. No internet or any other information was provided.
The room was a basement. Had new kettle toaster and microwave. Cutlery and tableware were adequate and iron, hairdryer, fan tower, airer and also shower gel and shampoo were provided. Beds were clean and comfy. The lamp had no bulb in it. Radiater in the shower bathroom was leaking.
Location was great. We would ultimately stay here again if on a night stopover and the price was fair.
My husband and I stayed at property 1B which is a small studio in the basement. The sunroof above the small kitchen and the window were splattered with brid droppings. Though there was a fan in the property, the window and the door by the kitchen can't be opened therefore no air ventilation. The room felt very stuffy and the air heavy which makes us feel suffocated. The eyes became itchy and watery too. We're afraid due to the bird droppings we could be getting bird flu. We checked in at 5pm and checked out at midnight because we could't sleep and we couldn't stay any longer worrying for our health. I think this property should not be let out especially in the summer for the health and safety of the patrons. And the photo advertised to us is not the photo of the property we got.
