Lit super !...
We booked two rooms, one was overlooking the square and refurbished, the other was looking over the back of the building but not refurbished. Overall, excellent value for money however, the front looking rooms are much better.
Hotel liegt leider direkt am Marktplatz (immer Mo + Do).
Very comfortable hotel for a good price. Excellent location and nice spacious and modern room!
The next time I am in the area, I will definitely book this hotel again!
Hotel was easy to find, hotel staff very helpful with parking. Our stay was excellent:- the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the service from the staff excellent. And there are some good places to eat nearby and a Carrefour a couple of mins walk away.
Short stay for a business trip but would happly come back if in the area
Friendly staff, great beers in the bar, free wifi, hair dryer, renovated bathroom looked good (although a shower curtain is outdated), clean room, great price, value for money.
Too many niggles to rank it any better. Sliding glass bathroom door looks good but isn't really practical. Shower looks good but spills water out over the floor, despite rather nasty curtain. Our room was on a half landing down the back stairs, though it was nice once we got inside. Public rooms not bad but paintwork needs touching up here and there. Great location though - if there is such a thing in La Louviere!
This is an inexpensive hotel that is clean and well positioned in the town. Parking opposite in public underground car park. Nice restaurant next door and a couple of bars in walking distance. Good breakfast. Our shower did not work but the bath was ok. It is not the Ritz but for the price it is fine.
very helpfull and charming staff. Very clean and confortable room. The restaurant was part of the hotel and the food was very good. everything was fine.I will definately comeback.
Friendly and helpful staff. The Gym/Spa is down the road and around the corner ie a separate club that guests may use. The Restaurant is a separate business that again you leave the hotel to visit. There are no menus on the window, so you have to go in to find out what is on offer at what price.
The decor of the hotel is dull, and the quality of the workmanship not great. We had a big old style TV in our room with a reasonable choice of channels. The Shower into the bath was excellent.
The breakfast was good, although on day 2 rather than being offered a percolated coffee as on day 1, I was pointed in the direction of a coffee jug that had been on the side for a while and was not very hot, it did not taste good either.
Make sure to collect a car park ticket from the hotel before going down to the underground car park under the square. Ask to see pictures of how to use it, they are not on display. The car parking arrangements are ok.
Request windows away from the front of the hotel. The church is opposite and the clock chimes every hour and every half hour 24 hours a day! It can also be very noisy l from traffic - we were unlucky that the local supporters of Juventus decided to celebrate the team's success with much hooting ad shouting until 12:30 am.
For a budget hotel, it rates well against a 2*, at a stretch with the amenties it could be considered a 3* (Tristar). It may be that there are more expensive rooms available that would increase the rating.
