Gorgeous Glamping Experience
Pros:

The domes were a total once-in-a-lifetime kind of stay! Ours was impeccably decorated, with all kinds of nice amenities and a beautiful view. We saw a family of coatamundi right outside! Jose also connected us with some local tours and was very responsive.

To know: the road is unmarked and the water is solar-heated, so you'll want to time your showers (or outdoor bath!) for maximum heat. All- or four-wheel-drive is also helpful for getting up there - if you're struggling coming from town, going past the turn-off and turning around gives you a muuuch easier angle.

Pros:

It was a clean dome. But one scary dog was disturbing the whole night, and the shower was terrible.

THE Place to Stay in Monteverde
Pros:

Amazing location. Beautiful views. Great hosts. We even saw monkeys in the trees. Kinda perfect.
