Good points:
Staff were professional and friendly.
FREE Parking (you just have to register using the code provided)
FREE Continental breakfast was an added bonus.
Room was clean, which must be difficult as the rooms are quite old and in need of improvement.
Bad Bits
Woken up by power tools being used at 830am (Sunday) for the refurbishment work which is madness.
Disappointing shower, although hot and leaking overflow dripping out constantly through the night.
Rooms are dated and a bit run down but hopefully modernised after the refurbishment.
Unlit back passageway for the rear rooms, additionally hazardous as there was an extension lead dangling across.
If you need a cheap, clean room this place is acceptable but if prices are the same as alternatives I'd consider those.
Staff are doing the best with what they've got but the owners should really consider if it's sensible having loud building work, especially during a weekend morning.
The hotel was undergoing refurbishment. Not all the rooms are ready so very quiet. Car park wasn't lit either. Was ok for an overnight stay though but won't re-visit until completed.
The first room we had, smelt musty, the 2 bed light 1 not working 1 flickered the corner light was full or cobwebs and big spiders were presant,I asked for another room after being moved we then got moved again as the room was already booked but even tgat room the headboard was loose, the 3rd room we had was bearly acceptable again the room was rundown and cobwebs around, Deffently the worst hotel ive ever been in,not going back there again
Very nice staff
But very bad facilities

The "hotel" looks like a Pontins chalet block has been moved near Coventry and left to rot. Matresses and building debris are strewn around. The balcony access to the first floor is unlit and to say the least about non working lights in the room, water leaking from the overflow of the bath and a general lack of upkeep. Also the free parking cost £5 overnight. A bit of a scam and a place to avoid.
I felt unsafe at this hotel, the room was very out dated and the chair was falling apart. The lights in the bathroom didn't work well. I was followed into the carpark in the evening, by a two men in w red car. They parked opposite me watched me for a while and drove off. As a result I took everything out of my car into the room and used it as a barricade against the door. I will not stay here again.
The staff was not friendly the illumination outside was poorly but the room was very clean
Poor experience
No room service
No way to contact reception from room.
Phone lines are dead
Builder work going on causing loads of noise.
Toilet leaking
Mattress very uncomfortable and you can count the spring touching your back.
Dudnt like the lication, state of the room, it was on building site. Awfull.
This hotel should not be open to the public. It's a building site, it's dangerous. It's wrong of the company to open to the public in this condition
