Pros:

Reservation was made directly with hotel. Emails were promptly replied by Bee. She was very efficient and sweet as she not only answered all our enquiries and could recognise us as returning guests at the first instance.

Though it may not hv luxurious suites, Verandah Hotel provides impeccable services. The rooms are of good size, well-kept, hotel is strategically located and not forgetting the excellent service from the Front Desk, Housekeeping and F&B teams. Wifi is also strong within the premises. In addition, the front desk is always manned by cheerful and helpful colleagues (even at odd hours). As usual, we found the F&B team very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, can anticipate customers’ needs, and had always created a welcoming and positive dining experience. The cafe has good mix of Western and local cuisines, the quality was awesome! Must share that the Mango Sticky Rice at Verandah Cafe is one of the best we’ve tried during our recent 9 days stay at Krabi.

Had on numerous occasions sat at lobby area, noted how hardworking the staff were. They were constantly on the lookout to see to the needs of the guests & diners and also hard at work to ensure the premise is in pristine condition. Reception assisted with our airport transfer. They even reminded us to sign out towels when they heard we were going out to the sea. They also asked if we had umbrellas when we left hotel one gloomy afternoon. Such kind and thoughtful gestures from Verandah’s team gives the home-away-from-home feeling.

The Management and staff (Su, Bee, Pu, Nah, Fern, Tangmo, Marn, Beam, Kho, Sun, Yah, Lee, Poo and others) were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, making our travel experience truly enjoyable. We could see that the team was motivated, well-trained and empowered to perform their tasks effectively and efficiently

Pros:

The room was spacious and had everything you need, it could do with a coat of paint as some of the walls were dirty . The outlook was ugly and at night dreadfully noisy from the bars.
The sister hotel next door where you can swim has a very nice bar with a beautiful outlook.

Gammel og slitt standard med bråkete aircondition. Tv virket ikke, ekstremt mye bråk fra gaten utenfor, nattevakt var uinteressert i å hjelpe og satt bare å så på mobilen selvom man sto å ventet på hjelp. Bra beliggenhet.

Pros:

This property was just gross. Old, dated and dirty rooms. The club next floor blasts music until 2am. No hot water, which was fine because the shower was so gross I wouldn’t touch it. Luckily we only stayed 1 night. Just avoid.

Pros:

The hotel itself was fine for the money I paid, its location is really why I chose it and that worke dout fine. The service however was terrible, I was very surprised how rude the staff were, epecially the front-desk lady. Breakfast had some good things like eggs and fruit, but the coffee and juices were undrinkable. Overall this palce isok to stay for 1-2 days for its proximity to the beach and ferry ports, but there are better options in the area.

Pros:

The rooms were spacious but the bathrooms were a bit small, no microwave in the room, and the beds were harder than we are used to. The water pressure was great and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was wonderful as was the staff at the front desk, housekeeping, and dining. The location was fabulous - a few blocks from the beach and beach road. Plenty of restaurants and stores to choose from.

First Time Staying In This Hotel. Impressed!!!

The Basic Hotel With Excellent Strategic Location!!! Room 311

It’s a 2 star hotel with basic amenities. You cannot complain as you get what you pay for. The Verandah Cafe is superb. Breakfast was simple.

Pros :-

Friendly staffs. One of the budget hotel where the rooms are good. Be prepared to hear loud music as some pubs or bar are nearby. But the noise is still bearable though.

The toilet are basic. They provide simple shampoo & body soap. You need request for toothbrush, shaver at the reception.

1) Clean rooms - 1 Queen Bed & 1 Single Bed
2) Friendly staffs at reception & The Verandah Cafe.
3) Many shops nearby.
4) Laundrette service are just in front of the hotel. Cheap & good.
5) Massage shops are just beside the hotel.
6) Receptionist Pek was excellent in her service. Never fail to smile & she was very informative when enquire.
7) There is a travel package in front of the hotel lobby, manned by a lady. You may book here as she will diligently explained you the itinerary. Cheap & good.

Cons :-

Thin walls as you can hear music from nearby pubs/clubs.

Avoid December if you can as the hotel can be overbooked. Check in was supposed to be at 2pm but we only manage to get our family room (3 bedded) at 3.30pm. But it’s ok. You may keep your luggages or bags at the reception and visit nearby shops. There is a 7-eleven about 20 metres from hotel. No smoking in the rooms where you may be fine 2000 baht if they discover you smoke in the room.

Conclusion :-

Good hotel with the basic needs provided. Clean and good with the amount of money you pay for. You may stay here if you only need a place to sleep & keep your luggages while you walk around the Ao Nang area.

If you have a tight budget & if you need a family room (Max 4 person), you may book this hotel & the family room.

Pros:

This hotel was such an amazing property to stay at in Krabi! It was in a great location, walking distance to beach with tons of restaurants and shops around. The cafe inside the hotel was phenomenal, we ate here almost every day. The breakfast included was a huge plus!

Pros:

Everything would have been perfect except for the noise of a pub club playing disco music until 1~2am. You can wear your earplugs (which are free, by the way), but the low-pitched sounds will still resonate through your bones. Great staff, perfectly fine buffet breakfast, very clean.

Pros:

This place was amazing! Rooms were very spacious and clean. Very close to everything you’ll need, food, shopping, bars, 711, etc.. would recommend getting the breakfast option because I didn’t and ended up just paying for it because it smelled so good! Would recommend 10/10!

GORGEOUS CAFE (didn’t stay at hotel) BEST salads

Didn’t stay at hotel but the cafe is GORGEOUS!
We had so many lovely lunches here, the salads are amazing and gorgeous make your own brunch.
The banoffee pie is to die for!

Açai bowls and smoothie boths and also the juices and coffees are gorgeous!
