Pros:

Lovely little quiet pub just outside Ripon. Room was close to car park (my wife has accessibility issues ) so made life easy.
Very dog friendly even in bar (downstairs only, but thats fair enough) . Friendly staff! Good beer, good food! (lovely pint of Theakstons best) Had breakfast both days, dinner one night.

Little more than we would normally pay for food, but it was all so friendly and convenient, plus base price was fair, so all equalled out (No hidden prices per dog per night! like many are now doing)

Liable to become a fairly regular stopping point on our way to Scotland as close to our friends too.

Good location, friendly staff, clean, nice room, comfortable bed, easy to find and park. Only downside was missing breakfast - only start serving at 8.30am. Overall impression was great and would recommend to anyone.

I felt warmly welcomed by friendly staff. The room was clean and had all that I needed. The over bath shower was particularly brilliant, so simple to use and with good pressure. The full English breakfast was delicious and the friendliness of fellow guests completed the pleasure of my stay.
