Charles River Inn

It was quiet easy to get to and prefect for our family trip to see the Boston Lights 2025!

Decent. Great location. Might stay again, but very run down.

Ok property for what it was. Lots of things weren’t working in the lobby and breakfast area, but they were being worked on.

Overall a nice hotel

Bathroom shower faucet constantly running,bathroom room stinks, no suitcases rack, cracked bathroom sink, repaired tiles don’t match, no breakfast,

Used towels from other guests still there. Bathroom leak. The smell horrible and the AC noise couldnt sleep.

Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, bed room and bathroom were clean, and beds comfortable.

Good choice for proximity to fast food (McDonald’s/ihop), very friendly professional front desk staff, very good ac in rooms, quiet location. Sink was cracked and older tv, average rooms overall. Considering the demand for lodging in the area, even slightly lower room prices and some beautifying might be worth it overall. Noticeable effort by front desk staff though.

The room was disgustingly dirty. I was not willing to stay there and I left

Upon check in, at 3am, the staff said a room number out loud. I did not think about it at the time due to being exhusuted from a long travel day, however, as a single young woman traveling clearly alone, that was scary to think someone could have heard my room number. At 5 am, I was woken up by someone trying to open my door, and when I went to check the peep hole, the peep hole did not operate as it should. I have no visibility. When I checked it before checking out in the morning, nothing was blocking it and was just not a funtioning one. The rooms were large but it's clear the shower and tubs were not well cleaned over the years. I would not stay here again.

For a night it worked well. No frills but free parking, clean, safe and close to city sights.

It appears to be in the process of renovation. I did find a live water bug in the tub which I disposed of. Floor needed to be cleaned but the beds were very good. Bedding and towels were clean. Staff did not speak English but were friendly.

Not very clean, smelled curry in my room, no coffee machine in the lobby not water.

Very basic ..needs updating..beds are boxes not too comfy...no good coffee in the am.. just a place to sleep if super tired
