Some houses has second floor and it’s wooden screechy if anyone lives upstairs. Wasn’t possible to sleep. We asked to change for free rooms without neighbors and in the beginning we were asked for extra fees but after some arguments and etc we were changed for a calmer house. Anyway we were already upset by communication and lost of time.
Be aware that if your room is downstairs you will hear absolutely everything from upstairs. If no neighbors it’s great but not guaranteed.

L'accesso alla laguna come le scalette possono essere migliorate. I pochi lettini disponibili, 4 di nuomero, non hanno il materassino quindi sono inutilizzabili perchè è come sdraiarsi sul pavimento in legno... davvero scomodo

La entrada está un pokito complicada está rocosa pero dei en fuera todo bonito

Accès assez compliqué pour arriver à l’hôtel : beaucoup de trous (chemin de terre/ cailloux), peu de places pour se garer sur le parking dans l’hôtel

It´s a shame they don´t have any information in the rooms or when you book, regarding the importance of taking care of the stromatolites in the lagoon. This is crucial and should be definitely mentioned to the guests. It´s their responsibility to inform people who come to visit not to step on the stromatolites and not to wear body lotion or sunscreen. Should be printed and pasted in every room.

Also, they did not have extra pillows and the tv remote was not working and they weren´t able to help.

Es una pena que no tengan información en los cuartos o cuando reservas, sobre la importancia de cuidad a los estromatolitos en la laguna. Es información crucial y debería definitivamente ser mencionada a los huéspedes. Es su responsabilidad informar a las personas que visitan, que no pisen a los estromatolitos y que no usen cremas o protector solar cuando entren a la laguna. Deberían imprimir la info y pegarla en cada cuarto.

No tenían almohadas extras y el control de la tele no funcionaba y no pudieorn ayudar.

I asked for a hair dryer as the one from the room was missing but this never materialised - however in the grand scheme of things this wasn’t a big deal.

Pocos camastros

Overpriced like a luxury resort, but not at all up to such a standard. We decided to go elsewhere and found a nicer hotel for less than 1/6th of the cost.

Location is far away, not walkable to anything. There are kayaks and lake access, but that gets boring real quick.

Outside the property they are burning their trash.

The floors had an oily surface, tainting our children’s clothes.

Le chemin d'accès très abîmés

Notre 1er logement était en retrait et avec un autre hébergement au dessus de nous où nous entendions tout, donc pas top.
Le petit déjeuner proposé sur place est une livraison sommaire type Uber en sachet, servi entre 9h et 11h, ou bien petit déjeuner dans un restaurant de Bacalar à 2km à 8h

No me hicieron la limpieza de mi habitación un par de ocasiones , no dejan toallas para secarse manos o un tapete de baño

Very disappointing stay for the price.
Apart from a comfortable bed, the experience fell short.

• Customer service was minimal and issues were met with indifference.
• Poor sound insulation and noise at night made it difficult to rest.
• Strong chemical smell after cleaning and floor still wet.
• Stained linens and unstable hot water.
• Breakfast was forgotten.

Overall, the quality didn’t match the price, and we wouldn’t recommend in the current state.
