Liked the the location. The room had good facilities including an electric shower towles and a kettle with beverages.
The automated checking in system didn't work well and had to contact a member of staff to help gain entry to the building after a long journey.
Location and the person I saw when I went there to drop the bags was very nice.
After a painfull process to change the booking dates, I get to the hotel on the date, I was in rush so I just drop the bags and move out again, come back hours later (after 12:00 pm), with my partner and 5 years old daugther.
The first thing welcoming us was the strong smell of w**d on the corridor, we went to our room and the smell was stronger there and on the bathroom. I couldn't ask for a room change because the reception was close, I had to spray the room with perfume. The bathroom was dirty, the bathtube joints and rubbers completely disgusting, the towel was full of hair. The cupboard underneath the sink was dirty as well as the carpet on the entire room. My 5 years old says this was the worse hotel ever and ask to go back home.
We have been in other budget hotel before, but nothing like this.
Even though the location was very convenient, 1 minute walking from where a needed to be, I would never going back there.
Don't recommend it at all.
This is perfect stay for people who wants to visit london. They kept my bag safe and also provided the best suppprt that we needed . Looking at the facililty i rebooked the hotel twice
Nothing
Everything - property was listed on booking.com as a 4 star hotel but it is a 2 star hotel confirmed by the staff, this is misleading and should be updated on the system
The property all throughout as well as the room was shockingly very dirty and tired requiring extensive maintenance throughout.
Carpets throughout the building & room were dirty, not vacuumed at all, many parks present, aged dust on top & chucks of debris. It felt like Trainspotting movie. The walls had extensive marks, windows and woodwork hasn’t been cleaned in months, bathroom was wiped but not cleaned, watermarks and limescale present everywhere. No mirror in bathroom as you’re brushing your teeth. The room itself had stale cigarette smell in it. Furniture needs maintenance. Kettle had stale water in it. Teas were herbal only and decaf coffee only. I checked in at around 9:30pm and by 10pm I’m too tired to discuss what is obviously had had many hours to check on the room for the guests to make sure it is up to expected standard. I’ve taken photos of my stay I’ll submit but I would recommend to stay in nearby Signature hotel for the same price. This is the worst in the area perhaps that looks pretty on marketing but failed in every way. The mattress to add is past its lifespan as it caves in middle. Too tired to notice all night. This is not a standard you’d live in your house either especially running it as a business!
The ceilings were covered with cobwebs from spiders and dust. The only clean part of the whole experience were the bedding sheets.
There was a man manning the front desk, he didn’t even acknowledge to say hi or welcome, what is the point of him?
It’s unbelievable how Booking.com can rate this with 4 stars.
The place is absolutely dirty.
I am glad I can’t describe the smell of it in words to the readers. Avoid
