Relaxing and very affordable
Pros:

The remodel is coming along, these things take time but they are getting there. My room was freshly remodeled so all of the linens and towels were brand new. The furniture is a bit dated but it worked just fine.

Cons:

Location sucks this is kind of the north east San Antonio gang land but I didn’t have any issues

The staff member did the best she could, but the experience was overall bad.
Pros:

The receptionist was super nice. She was friendly and she did her best. They also offered to help with accommodations elsewhere and give us a refund to make up for our experience.

Cons:

There was only a single person on staff when we arrived barely after dark, meaning we were left waiting outside in a dimly lit area for a while since we couldn't get into our room. The hotel says it is "newly renovated", but that is not true. It is currently under construction. The floors were dirty and got my feet sticky and dusty after walking around for only a few minutes, and one of us found someone else's dirty clothes in a drawer. The sink didn't work properly, the door lock was finicky (which is a bit alarming as a female traveler), and despite being a non-smoking property there was a man smoking weed right by the elevator to where we couldn't get to or from our room without passing through a cloud of smoke.

Once you get past the horrible construction in the area, the motel is worth the stay.

Unfinished run down place, sketchy area, unfinished lobby and no breakfast as advertised, it looks worse than the advertised photos and we had NO WATER

Great value with comfy beds. I’d definitely stay again.

The beds are very comfortable. I also like that the TV was a Roku one.

Acceptable for what you pay.
Pros:

Steven (reception) was kind and considerate. The overall was acceptable, considering the amount of money I paid to stay there.

Cons:

There was a day in which no water came out of the shower, nor the sink. I didn't say anything as I had to leave, but that definitely made the experience uncomfortable. Cleaning wasn't performed at any moment of my staying, which I appreciated as I didn't want anyone going in my room... But still, it could have been good to have had trash removed and overall quick cleaning at some point.

It was a great stay for the amount we paid.
Pros:

This property was a great value. The hotel is being renovated and was very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during our stay.
