Home vibes. Love. Serenity.
Pros:

Wow if I could give them 15/10 I would!! Best homestay ever. First off the family here are the sweetest people ever. They have the biggest hearts and truly care about you. They treat you like family and will help you with what you need to feel apart of their family.

Their house is so beautiful and feels still apart of the jungle. Their temple is gorgeous and the rooms have ample space, clean and soooooo comfortable. Bonus there's a kettle!!

The location is amazing. Farther from the main downtown but for me that was perfect. Only 4 rooms in total so felt intimate and quiet.

I can't say enough They truly are the best. I dont want to leave. The energy is soooo amazing!

Beautiful place, great value for money
Pros:

The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and very communicative if I needed anything. The massage add on was really lovely as well, everyone was so friendly! The view from the room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable.

Seeking peace in ubud
Pros:

I really liked that it wasn't on the main road and the sounds of the city fade away. Yes, you will hear the occasional bike, dog fight, and rooster. You will also hear birds sing and the sound of ubud quietly waking up.

Cons:

The ac unit was not what I was used to. The host offered me a different room but the ac system is the same everywhere. Dealing with the heat took me a bit to adjust but fortunately it doesn't stay hot for long. The host also placed a fan which really helped.

Feels like home :)
Pros:

I have stayed in many accommodations in Bali, and Mandari House is without a doubt my favorite.
There may be homestays with a pool or more “luxury”, but Mandari doesn’t need any of that. It is a simple place that has everything you need to feel at home, even when you are very far away from it.

I was originally planning to stay for just two nights, but as soon as I arrived, I changed my other reservations to stay longer. That says it all.

What truly makes this place special is Tary and her family. They are incredibly welcoming, warm, and caring. From the very first moment, they make you feel looked after, like part of the family — and that is priceless.

I also want to highlight something very important to me: it is the cleanest accommodation I have stayed in in Indonesia, including hotels and resorts. Spotless in every sense.

Giving it a 10 still feels short. Mandari House is not just a place to stay, it’s a place to belong.

Delightful stay with kind and welcoming hosts.
Pros:

Great stay with Komang and Tari. They are the sweetest! Nice calm location with easy access to the busier parts of Ubud.
