Pros:

Madeira ist eine sehr schöne Insel mit vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Entspannte Menschen.

Cons:

Mit weniger Straßenverkehr (und lauten Motorrädern) könnte Funchal ein noch entspannterer Ort sein. Das war tatsächlich das einzig Negative.

Heel fijn comfortabel hotel. Heerlijk ontbijt en een lekker zwembad.

Je moet in een parkeergarage parkeren. Alleen voor in- en uitchecken kan je bij de ingang parkeren.

De locatie en het zwembad waren prima! Goede restaurants in de buurt. Mooie grote nette kamer ook.

Cons:

Het ontbijt a la carte was erg Engels en wij vonden het matig. De koffie en de nep sapjes waren echt niet lekker..

Pros:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt am Pool, sodass wir morgens direkt eine Runde schwimmen gehen konnten, ohne durch das Hotel laufen zu müssen. Das Zimmer war super ausgestattet, die Mitarbeitenden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Frühstück in einer schönen Atmosphäre total lecker. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden bei einem nächsten Urlaub auf Madeira jederzeit wieder kommen!

Good location and very helpful staff
Pros:

Gardens were lovely and breakfast was good. A bottle of sparking wine in the room on my husband’s birthday. Chocolate left on pillow every night

Cons:

Squeaky floors and water from shower sprayed out on the floor. Could have had better signs to breakfast and swimming pools. Directions were a bit confusing

Receptionist Laura was amazing so helpful & friendly. She made our stay run smoothly a credit to the hotel.

Lovely stay in Funchal
Pros:

Very nice, modern and comfortable hotel with a beautiful garden and nice pool area. Good location to explore Funchal as you have some good restaurants nearby, and you are well-connected to the city centre. Breakfast was elaborate and was served in a beautiful hotel next door (you can walk across a bridge to get there, it takes 3-4 minutes to get there, very easy).

We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was modern, clean, and well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and we appreciated that complimentary water was replenished regularly. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel never felt crowded.
