The service at this Shangri La is what makes the hotel. The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. Lots of people around to help. The additional lounge access is very good and helped us with our stay. The food quality and choice there was excellent and worth the additional charge. Kieth and the team in the lounge were friendly and pleasant. The size of the 3 bedroom apartment was superb.

Cons:

We had issues with our 3 bedroom apartment. There was noticeable smoke smell from the bedroom that I stayed in with my son. We asked to resolve this, which they attempted but still was pleasant. The rooms are a bit dated in places and is showing the age, needs a good refurbishment.

Horrible.
Pros:

Nothing. Rude and disgusting staff.

Cons:

I didn’t like anything. Rude management. Tried to break into my room with my minor daughter. Said to give our passports for “deposit”. Complete lie. Called the police on me and once AGAIN tried to break into my room. Constant disgusting behavior from every employee and manager. Ruined my new years stay.

Great location and staff but rooms need updating
Pros:

Location. Clean. Big size of room.

Cons:

Needs updating. I upgraded to the hotel and it was 100X better. Well worth paying the extra as hotel was modern and new and apartments were dated. They are inside the hotel and same entrance/ exit.
