Ok property. Needs some added attention to detail

Cons:

Things are just off. Water pressure was weak. Shower did not have hot water. Shared with staff they said it was fine. We had two rooms and 1/2 the party had to come to the other room to shower

Great location and staff
Pros:

Excellent staff - extremely helpful starting before arrival they reached out to ensure everything would be to our liking, super welcoming with arrival gifts, drinks, 24/7 fresh pastries from Boulenc, great breakfast and super convenient location

Cons:

Was very noisy - on a busy street they provided ear plugs but ideally I don’t have to wear earplugs to bed at a nice hotel

Cons:

The deluxe king room did not feel very deluxe. Overall, the property didn't measure up to how it looked online. There were no bedside tables or lamps in the room which meant pitch dark or bright overhead lights. No towel racks either and very limited outlets for charging electronics. I would've preferred fewer "extras"—like drinks and pastries—for a higher caliber of room for the $$$ cost.

We’re very happy we booked this property and would gladly return for our next visit.
Pros:

Great location, wonderful friendly and helpful staff, great selection of food for breakfast and very comfortable rooms. It’s truly a unique boutique hotel

Cons:

It gets noisy outside the property at certain times but the hotel provides ear plugs which were quite handy.

Pros:

Great architecture and design in the heart of Oaxaca. There were great advantages with it being part of Boulenc. You get food and drinks from the restaurant delivered to your room, which was a plus.

Cons:

Unfortunately we expected more from the installations. We had an issue with our bathroom which we communicated. However, the issue was not resolved (the floor flooded when showering). Also, there were no hangers for the wet towels. We expected more for our money in this regard, considering the price. Also, staff were not very helpful. We asked for a taxi and we were only offered a 900 peso ride to the airport (brutally expensive). When asking for a cheaper option, we never heard back…disappointing.

Pros:

Jose and the team at Becino made our stay excellent! Delicious breakfast with goods from Boulenc, the famous bakery partner of the hotel. Spacious rooms with confortable beds, right in the center of Oaxaca. Would totally recommend!

It was delightful!
Pros:

The location was convenient and the staff were very kind and easy to communicate with throughout my stay. I loved the vibe of the place - especially the extra details like the drinks & snacks in the rooms, the nice soap, and the aesthetic. The breakfast was yummy and the staff goes above and beyond to help their guests.

Cons:

I wish they had a pool!
My jacuzzi wasn’t heated and that would have been nice, but I think it was broken.
