Pros:

It is a cute boutique hotel that is a little oasis in a busy area. The location is perfect. The staff are responsive, welcoming and helpful. The rooftop terrace is a great place to have a drink.

Pros:

The hotel is truly beautiful and has a very distinctive and personal style. Our room was spacious and cozy, making it a very pleasant place to relax after a day out.
Breakfast is excellent, with fresh and high-quality products, and it is served on a lovely terrace which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Throughout the day, guests can also help themselves to the croissants left from breakfast (a very thoughtful gesture both for guests and to avoid food waste), fresh fruit, and micro-filtered water.
The staff is extremely kind and always available to help with organizing activities or giving recommendations.

Pros:

Great stay at Becino! Ideal location in central Oaxaca. We loved the breakfast on the roof -- Jose makes an amazing flat white. Our room was large and very comfortable. The staff also helped us coordinate a rental car reservation (dropped off at the hotel for us) and a reservation with a particularly hard to contact restaurant. Highly recommend!

Cons:

Minor nits: the room was a bit loud at night due to street noise (not a problem for us, we wore ear plugs), the shower pressure could've been stronger.

Amazing location, beautiful room, great staff
Pros:

Loved the room, breakfast, the location and all the extras that were provided. Very thoughtful and friendly staff.

Cons:

Nothing! Except that we could have used some hooks in the bathroom for towels etc.

The design, the atmosphere, the details in the room.

Cons:

Very noisy mainly because of the type and quality of the windows. Breakfast was average as in an every hotel we stayed in Mexico.

An unforgettable experience at Becino!
Pros:

We had such a great experience at Becino! The hotel is incredible - such beautiful staff, comfortable bed, great amenities, and an impressive design! The staff go above and beyond to help you and make you feel comfortable and at home. Becino is pure style, with beautiful local artworks located around the hotel and in the rooms. We were treated to a delicious Mezcalita welcome drink from Boulenc and delicious local chocolates and mezcal. The breakfast and coffee is also impressive, the pastries from Boulenc are as good (if not better) than the pastries we’ve had in France and the coffee that Jose makes is the best coffee we’ve had since leaving Australia! The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything. We will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you again!

Things are just off. Water pressure was weak. Shower did not have hot water. Shared with staff they said it was fine. We had two rooms and 1/2 the party had to come to the other room to shower

Pros:

Excellent staff - extremely helpful starting before arrival they reached out to ensure everything would be to our liking, super welcoming with arrival gifts, drinks, 24/7 fresh pastries from Boulenc, great breakfast and super convenient location

Cons:

Was very noisy - on a busy street they provided ear plugs but ideally I don’t have to wear earplugs to bed at a nice hotel

Friendly staff and comfortable bed but very basic, making it overpriced. Not really a luxury stay.
Pros:

Comfortable beds, friendly staff, great location, and lovely complimentary welcome drink and pastries.

Cons:

The deluxe king room did not feel very deluxe. Overall, the property didn't measure up to how it looked online. There were no bedside tables or lamps in the room which meant pitch dark or bright overhead lights. No towel racks either and very limited outlets for charging electronics. I would've preferred fewer "extras"—like drinks and pastries—for a higher caliber of room for the $$$ cost.
