Beautiful, spacious rooms and attentive service
Pros:

The hospitality was the highlight of the stay. At check-in, we asked to switch from a king to a double. No problem, just a short wait for the room to turn. We went to the bar, and a few minutes later the receptionist came to find us with our keys. Our luggage was already in the room. That kind of follow-through is easy to take for granted when it happens, but you notice when it doesn't. The room and bathroom were both spacious, the in-room amenities were a nice touch, and the complimentary minibar felt genuinely generous. Not something you can say very often.

Cons:

The one area where the experience fell short was around a communication gap at check-in. The on-site restaurant was fully committed until 2pm — we later learned there was a local race event that weekend, though we're not certain that was the cause. A simple heads-up at check-in ("there's a big event this weekend, you may want to make a dining reservation or consider room service for your last morning") would have gone a long way. For a hotel at this level, that kind of proactive guest communication is what separates good from exceptional. A small miss in an otherwise lovely stay.

Lovely room, lovely amenities, personable staff
Pros:

Beautiful property with friendly staff.

Cons:

It boasts of being pet friendly - which is wonderful and allowed me to bring my English Bulldog with me. However, after I arrived I received a list of all the places my dog was not allowed… which was everywhere on the property including outdoor spaces.

Pros:

It’s beautiful, smalls amazing, pool is perfection staff is amazing , bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. Love the complimentary goodies they have in room and turn down service .

Cons:

Can be noisy at times with neighbors above but they are working to improve that

Lovely hotel, fabulous location, great dining
Pros:

Beautiful decor, good dining choices, in room snacks and complimentary wine + water, plenty of clothing storage, patio with comfortable seating, in room settee and table, large television

Cons:

King feather bed not super plush, pool bar hours close at 5, house keeping trying to turn down way too early while we’re still in the room and then not returning while gone, house keeping not taking dirty dishes and taking used bath linens but not replenishing

Room was tiny and super noisy (can easily hear the TV noise from other rooms and outside). Called the front desk 3 times but no response, and had to come down to speak to someone. We booked a one night stay, and decided to depart early and find another hotel to spend the night.
