The Malayan Plaza Hotel

Amenities:
1.bathroom chipped, old
2.Shower not functioning well
3.Bathtowels Brown with age and worn out/stained
4.No bathmat, but a worn one was given 2 hrs after request
5.Hot water kettle cover fell off when I poured my hot water to cup - kettle lid broken and was put back on top. requested for a new one, came 2 hrs later with the bathmat.
6. Microwave broken, not working
7. Rusted electric stove - I did not use it
8. Air-conditioner poured out a lot of water on the floor. Maintenance came to fix it, but operation was temperamental. Goes very cold then would go hot without us pressing any button on the remote
9. Missing/mismatched cutlery and Crockery
10. No coffee/tea in the room
11. Windows curtains difficult to open and close.

Facility rooms are quite old and need renovation, we needed to transfer to another room as the hot water was flowing down the sink

The one we have looks old its not as maintaned like the other hotels.

Rooms were dusty, sheets were clean but a bit old already. It was no longer white and it seems that the laundry was not that good anymore. The curtains were dirty and very dusty, causing an allergic reaction to me. The pool was cloudy and high in chlorine. I have been here 5 years ago and during those times the hotel was really great. It needs to be taken care of again.

The room was dirty, dust and hair everywhere. The bathroom is moldy and disgusting.

The room we were assigned in was not well maintained. There were floor tiles which were already detached but not re-attached. The bathroom door was creaking loudly, which nearly woke up my sleeping kids. The aircon was not able to cool the room properly. There were no utensils. Worst part was that we were asked to pay Php 400 Parking Fee saying that we were there for 24hrs already when we checked-in 40mins late and the usual check-in time was 3PM and the check-our time is at 12nn the following day.

old amenities in the room like the TV. old tiles in the CR. but maybe since the price is a bit cheaper, it is okay.

I like it all.. The Hotel is very excellent. There's nothing I didn't like

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was uncomfortable, and it didn't match what was advertised on Booking.com. I had booked a 2-bed room, but the first room had an air conditioner that didn't cool the room effectively. There was no floor towel, and I even found a cockroach in the bathroom. The room was poorly lit, and the bed linens and quilt cover appeared dirty and worn out, turning a dingy white color. There was also no microwave oven as mentioned in the listing.

In the second room, there were no towels, and I had to request them upon arrival. The microwave oven in that room was over 10 years old, with its white color now faded to cream, and it didn't work at all. The hallway was extremely dimly lit, and even the lighting around the elevator was inadequate. The only light in the area came from the front desk, which was shared with the hallway near the elevator.

The overall experience during my three-day stay was uncomfortable and far from relaxing. The hotel didn’t have a welcoming atmosphere, and I felt more at home in my own space than in this hotel. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Some baby cockroach was litering aroound at the rooms

The room was a little rundown needed maintenance. Aircon was very noisy and shower tiles cracked and only one door on the shower, lots of little things that needed attention.
