С самого первого шага в отель создается ощущение, что вы перенеслись в роскошный дворцовый эпос: интерьеры отеля выглядят как живое произведение искусства. Would be perfect in a better less cluttered room without the irritation of the buzzing noise

Beautiful old building-with wonderful staff-in a great position

Cons:

Room was smaller than expected and overfilled with furniture. Also constantly disturbed at night by a buzzing sound that was constant and was timed every 20 seconds and after notifying the desk nothing was done-disappointing?

It is really a three or four star experience with a five star lobby, breakfast room and bar.

My first room was uninhabitable…the bed had broken springs, the grab bar in bathroom fell off, the drawers were locked with no keys to open them or they were jammed shut.
The second afternoon I was upgraded and moved to a better room which was much nicer…but there was no outlet by the bed to charge a phone and the shower was tiny.
The hotel did not have the amenities usually found in a five star hotel. The front desk was understaffed, often with a young man who was not knowledgeable and there was no concierge.
The lobby and breakfast room were beautiful but not available for use if there was a private function going on.
The location was excellent and central. However there was no subway station nearby.
The hotel has a long history in Rome and has great potential but does not merit a five star rating.
Also, booking.com was of no help to resolve my problems. I could not get past AI on the app nor speak to anyone. I was informed that someone would call me within 24 hours but that didn’t happen. It is now four days since I contacted them and I still haven’t been contacted.

Pros:

Beautiful old building and convenient location. Exceptional buffet breakfast. Excellent service. Balcony room was such a perk.

Very good and comfortable.
Pros:

Very authentic and classic. Great staff and customer service. You get the vibe of the Roman experience. Amazing location and walking distance to the main attractions.

Cons:

Its lost between to be luxurious and authentic classic. Some features and areas would give the impression thats this is really old and needs renovation.
