Schönes großes Zimmer mit Park-Ausblick, gute Betten, bequeme Matratze, ruhig gelegen und dennoch alles gut erreichbar, für Frühstück super ausgestattete Küche mit Kaffee/Tee/Zucker/Müsli/frisches Brot/Butter/Milch, nette Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin

Cons:

Fast alles top. 2 Dinge könnten noch optimiert werden: Der Tisch zum Frühstück könnte etwas größer sein und eine WC-Bürste hat gefehlt.

Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone visiting Edinburgh/ Leith
Pros:

The property was absolutely beautiful, spotless and situated in such a convenient and pretty location in Leith overlooking the links. Erika met us on arrival and showed us to our suite. She was so friendly and gave us a list of recommendations for our stay.

Suite familiare bellissima, non abbiamo incontrato di persona i proprietari ma la comunicazione con i messaggi perfetta! Pur non avendo la colazione compresa al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un barattolo di cereali, del pane e nel frigorifero latte e burro per la colazione. Un angolo cottura con bollitore, tostapane, forno con funzione normale e microonde, lavastoviglie. Dalle fotografie di booking si vedeva che la suite era bella ma ha superato le nostre aspettative.

Amazing and wonderful stay.
Pros:

I don’t even know where to begin, this place was amazing! It was beautiful inside and so welcoming. Erika communicated clearly and answered every question. Room is huge, very clean, comfy bed and nice hot shower. We were given a loaf of fresh baked bread which we toasted for breakfast. There is a tram about 7 min walk, and few bus stations within walking distance. If you don’t want to stay in the main part of Edinburgh where the craziness is, this is the place for you. After being out all day, this place was so comfortable to just whine down. Washer and dryer available for guest, which is a HUGE bonus. I definitely recommend this place. I personally fell in love with Scotland and hope to be back and stay here again.

Cons:

Only negative I have, which isn’t a huge negative, there is no elevator (lift). So if you are like me and an over packer with a HUGE suitcase, be prepared to carry it.

Perfect
Pros:

It was a great stay. Very clean, great communication with a host and a great Apartment itself. Really recommend. 15 mins to get to city center with a tram. Would stay there again!

Besser geht nicht!
Pros:

Ein liebevoll restauriertes Stadthaus welches sehr sauber und stilvoll und willkommen geheißen hat. Das Zimmer war perfekt und luxuriös ausgestattet. Die originale Englische Inneneinrichtung mit Stuckdecke und klassischen Möbel haben uns ein Gefühl von Palast gegeben. Die Betten waren exzellent, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet und auch das kleine Bad war sehr sauber und wie neu. Darüber hinaus war in der Küche ein großer Laib frisch gebackenes Brot, Butter, Milch und jede Menge Kaffee und Tee. Vielen Dank für diese außergewöhnlich gute Übernachtungen an diese perfekten Gastgeber! P.S: Erwähnen möchte ich noch die gute Lage am Park mit kurzem Fußweg zur Strassenbahnstation und ins Zentrum von Leith. Der Pub um die Ecke ist übrigens sehr landestypisch und Fremde werden herzlich aufgenommen.

Cons:

Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer war über das Häusermeer und nicht über den Park, jedoch war dies vollkommen egal, da man bei diesem schönen Zimmer nicht rausschaut.

Fabulous view made the stairs absolutely worthwhile. Classy decor and clever use of space.

Sehr ruhige Lage. Sehr bequemes Bett. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Großzügige Platzverhältnisse. Es gibt eine separate Badewanne, die auch benutzt werden soll… Klasse Dusche! Wir haben als Willkommensgruß Brot, Milch, Müsli und Butter vorgefunden. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten in der nächsten Querstraße. Gute Verkehrsanbindung an Bus&Tram.

Cons:

Leider haben wir übersehen, dass es kein Kochfeld in der Küche gibt. Es wäre schön, wenn dies in der Beschreibung deutlicher dargestellt wäre.

Happy with our stay and will use again if in Edinburgh
Pros:

Location worked for our short trip. Happy with bedroom size and bathroom was also spacious. Erika & Alexander very friendly and keep in touch if needed. Also helpful with information about the city.

Cons:

Room was not made up in the morning. We stayed downstairs so it was a little challenge carrying large or heavy suitcases down the staircase. We did find we could easily hear our neighbours walking around upstairs.
