Relaxing, fun, beautiful view of the lagoon
Pros:

Cozy cabins with all the amenities [toiletries, beach towels, in-room coffee machine, plenty of outlets to charge electronics, comfortable bed, linens, and pillows, small fridge stocked daily with water, soda, and beer. Complete breakfast brought to your door every morning. The lagoon is a dream! Green kayaks, vests, and paddle boards for guest use during the day. I enjoyed the swings in the lagoon 🙃This is also a good place to take tours to nearby areas such us Mahahual and Chetumal. The best thing though, is the staff who go above and beyond to serve your needs. Just ask and they’ll figure it out for you. I hope to come back soon with the family.

Cons:

Located a little far from the main plaza. It’s difficult to find mainly because the local taxis know it by Playa Laguna instead of the advertised name. The outside sign is small and easy to miss, especially if you arrive after dark.

Pros:

Geräumige Strandbungalows an einem wunderschönen Strandabschnitt direkt an der Lagune! Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und genießen und durch die Scooter, die man kostenlos ausleihen kann, ist auch das Zentrum leicht erreichbar. Das inkludierte Frühstück war sehr ausgiebig und auch für uns Vegetarier sehr abwechslungsreich.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt direkt um 2 Tage verlängert!

Nicest warm lagoon water! Truly a lil piece of paradise!
Pros:

The property was exceptional to say the least about it!! Breakfast was terrific and brought to cabana or by water wherever u wanted each morning. Staff were kind and friendly want to make your stay nice. Especially a fellow named Evaristo, he was extra attentive to making our stay special!! Sad to leave and can’t wait to go back!

Cons:

Nothing to not like. Some reviews we read prior booking said no where to eat for restaurants and no where to buy beer or snacks and water etc. beach club restaurant down the street had terrific well priced meals and a few blocks down a lil market store where u could buy drinks etc. a short cab ride for 60-80 pesos u are down town at any restaurant. We walked to town which is likely a few kms but safe and walkable streets too. Pontoon tour of lagoon terrific too!!

Amazing place
Pros:

The place is in a very quiet place where you are able to rest pleasantly. Then the part of the lagoon where it's located is stunning making breakfast to start your day an amazing experience. On top of this the staff is very helpful and the kayaks they offer included in the price is an amazing way to get to know different parts of the lagoon or just chill in the water. Finally each day they leave you complimentary drinks, coffee and tea.

Cons:

Maybe a table in the room to put your stuff.

Directement sur la lagune, une très belle expérience!
Pros:

Directement situé sur la lagune, l’emplacement est tout simplement magnifique. Les trois petites cabines en triangle (cabines 9, 10 et 11) sont celles qui se trouvent le plus près de l’eau, mais elles ne disposent pas de salle de bain attenante. Chacune possède toutefois une salle de bain privée située à l’entrée du resort, à environ 50 mètres à pied.

Pour ceux qui souhaitent une cabine plus spacieuse avec salle de bain intégrée tout en restant près de l’eau, la cabine 8 représente un excellent compromis. Cela dit, nous avons adoré notre séjour dans la cabine 11, presque les pieds dans l’eau !

Les cabines sont bien équipées avec un petit réfrigérateur, une cafetière et une climatisation très efficace. Les chambres sont propres et les lits confortables. Les petits-déjeuners sont généreux et délicieux.

Le resort se trouve à seulement 8 minutes en voiture du centre, où l’on trouve d’excellents restaurants. Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour. Lors de notre passage, un petit bar-restaurant était en construction sur le site, ce qui ajoutera assurément une belle valeur à l’expérience.

Bien pour la lagune mais pas d'intimité
Pros:

L'hôtel donne sur une petite plage de la lugune. Il est coincé entre les autres propriétés mais pas vue sur les autres. Cayac à disposition.

Cons:

Les cabanes sont très proches les unes des autres. Mais on n'a pas de vis à vis mais pas d'intimité non plus. Petits déjeuners mediocres et tardifs (9h). On vit vraiment tous ensemble !

Everything was way beyond our expectations. The atmosphere, the location ( right on the lagoon, the best area of the lagoon). Pricing and the delicious breakfast we received every morning in our room.

Pros:

We loved the location on the lagoon, the friendly staff, the kayaks and the breakfast.

Cons:

I feel for the price it was over-priced. The chairs on the deck are super uncomfortable, there are zero common areas for any type of comfortable seating. Also the pillow on the bed were like couch pillows instead of a proper bed pillow. As a result your head was over elevated making it uncomfortable. As a new resort I hope management reads this and makes a few tweaks for greater comfort and value. To lower rates by about 20% will get you more bookings.

Hébergement atypique, les pieds dans l'eau
Pros:

Hébergement atypique avec vue directement sur le lac de Bacalar.
L' espace devant est parfait pour la baignade (d'ailleurs c'est une halte de certains bateaux d' excursions) et départ en kayak (gratuit) pour l'île aux oiseaux. Par contre attention, un peu loin du canal des pirates en kayak (nous l'avons fait mais presque 8km...)
Notre hébergement ne comportait pas de salle de bain DANS le logement mais une salle de bain privatisé a 80m, a l'entrée de la résidence. C était parfait.
Réfrigérateur avec quelques consommations incluses gratuitement, climatisation et wifi dans la chambre.
Literie bonne avec moustiquaire.
Très bon petit déjeuner !

Cons:

Nous avions la cabane la plus proche du lac... A 5m. Le seul souci peut être que certains résidents des autres logements peuvent se mettre sur la plage a cet endroit là .. vous avez donc devant votre logement, par moment, des personnes de la résidence.

It’s ok but next time I would not come to this place
Pros:

It is directly at the lagoon indeed.

Cons:

Very slow and unfriendly welcoming, the reception check in took more than 35 min and we felt like we disturb there. Also the policy and reminder about costs for dirty towels and bed sheets are super unprofessional.

There is no restaurant so for sure you need to take taxi to go to the city center. Breakfast are very little so you need to eat at the hotels nearby

Lagoon retreat
