The gentleman in the front office did his absolute best to.assist us with our situation and deserves full credit for his attempts
Our stay started poorly when we arrived with zero check-in instructions other than a time and place. Upon arrival, we were told our room wasn't ready and wouldn't be until 4:00 PM, despite Booking.com listing 3:00 PM as the check-in time (staff noted this is a "common issue"). When we returned an hour later, the room was still uncleaned—leaving us with nowhere to change for a wedding ceremony we had to attend in an hour. Adding insult to injury, multiple residents in the lobby openly joked about confused guests being "here for the Airbnb."
After the desk manager investigated, it turned out that due to a "system glitch," our reservation had never been scheduled for cleaning at all, despite our confirmation. While the on-duty desk manager tried their best to help, it was too late: we had to leave for the wedding without checking in, and ultimately drove 3.5 hours home afterward, cutting short our visit with family and friends and ruining our weekend plans.
Mistakes happen, and fullcredit is due to the desk manager for trying his best to resolve the issue and accommodate us. However, the subsequent customer service was far worse than the initial blunder. Despite the manager documenting everything and our numerous attempts to contact Inkwell management, without any response whatsoever, it took over two weeks just to get a refund for a room we never even stayed in. Not once did we receive even a basic "we are sorry this happened."
Had this been handled professionally, I could have understood. Instead, the total lack of accountability makes this an easy place to avoid. Stay far far away.
Access was a breeze. The space was modern, clean, and tidy. And the location, was very convenient to plenty of attractions in the neighborhood.
The door didn't quite seal all the way when deadbolted, and much of the hallway was then audible. Thankfully there was not too much going on on the floor, so not the end of the world, but still could be fixed to feel more secure and private. Also there was no remote for the television.
We were not provided with the access details for the property. Customer support did try to assist but had to source alternative accom at our own cost very late in the evening.
I have requested a full refund and this had been declined

It was clean and comfortable. Close to everything we needed for our travel.
Prior to arriving we never received the check in instructions. Thank god we got there right before 5 pm or we would’ve been stuck. The woman at the front desk helped us. It took about an hour to get us checked in after many frustrations.
