Friendly, kind staff, very comfortable beds.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and kind. The toilets were not working for the time i was there but the staff did everything they could, kept me updated and included free cooked breakfast. The hotel was very nice and the bed was very comfortable but the friendly, helpful and kind staff is what made our stay.

The toilets not working which couldn't be helped.

Great for the city centre
Pros:

It was in a perfectl location just opposite the train station in the centre of Newport. We didnt come by car but the carpark was just next door. The room was big enough and clean and the bed was comfy, nice assortment of toiletries. Good price for a Saturday night. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.we caught a cab a few yards from the hotel which was perfect. There are lots of bars around within walking distance, with a good variety of places to eat.

Cons:

We walked into the reception, which had a small bar at one end and a couple of tables, but it was quite sparse, not really welcoming, what put me off was the smell of drains, I couldn't have eaten breakfast in there. Perhaps it was just that occasion, but it did spoil it for me. There is also a nightclub next door and although the rooms were well insulated you still had the heavy beat of the music next door until 2am when it stopped. So be mindful if you like a peaceful night sleep.

Give it a miss!
Pros:

Nothing at all.

Cons:

Rude staff and bad communication.

Cancelled my booking without making sure I knew about it, an email at 8pm isn’t good enough I was left stranded in a town I didn’t know at 10pm.

Pros:

The staff - Prashansa and Aripin, were brilliant. The location was perfect, with clubs and pubs right beside the hotel. Complimentary water bottles were provided, which is a great plus point.

Avoid this place!
Cons:

We got cancelled on as we were on our way down, so we had to try and find somewhere else last minute. Was told there was issues but our rooms were probably just sold on for more money.
