The price is right, the host is friendly, the room was lovely.
Pros:

Helen was a lovely host and answered all of our questions. It was great having a fridge / freezer / microwave in the room! The room was very nice, the bed was very comfortable, and we loved having a private balcony and sleeping with the windows open. She provided bamboo utensils, cups & a water dispenser. It was also nice having a private bathroom.

Cons:

We wished that there was a toilet paper holder (the roll sat on the floor), we would have liked to have hand towels / washcloths (we only had a bath towel), we couldn’t control the temperature in the room, no bedside tables makes it difficult to have a place for glasses, water, phone, etc., The tenant above us was VERY loud and made thumping noises starting at 5 AM and the children who live there were sometimes noisy. (When we were trying to sleep). The water dispenser was not permanently installed and flopped around, making it difficult to use. It would have been nice to have instructions from Helen about public transportation as well as a map on how to get downtown. Getting downtown requires taking a bus to the subway station.

Propre et confortable. À 30 minutes à pied du Rodger stadium ou environ 10-15 minutes en autobus. Idéal pour aller voir un spectacle. À environ une heure du centre-ville en transport en commun. Le stationnement se trouve dans la rue, vous devez vous procurer un permis temporaire. Vous pouvez demander les informations auprès de l'hôte.

Property was clean and well maintained. Basic supplies were provided.

Cons:

The room was on the third floor with no elevator, which we were unaware of when we booked. The host helped carry our luggage upstairs, which was very nice, but we would have been in trouble if he had not offered. The location is far from where we thought it was, partly due to our own uncertainty. There are 2 Rogers venues in Toronto. We wanted Rogers Centre! The air conditioning ran all night, which kept the room, cool but blew on us while we were trying to sleep. Yet when we came home in the afternoon or early evening, the room was very warm. Needs adjusting to when it should work the hardest.

Worked well for the purpose
Pros:

The location is good. The room looks just as it does in the photo. It is in a shared occupancy property, however it is possible to come and go with no difficulty.
I liked the ease of having a microwave, fridge and bathroom toiletries. The optional balcony was a plus. The owner is very attentive and responds promptly to messages.

Cons:

Just a heads up as the shower tiles can be a little slippery.

Nous étions sur place pour un concert au Rogers Stadium, la proximité était très bonne

Cons:

La propreté était très discutable

Aucun équipement (séchoir à cheveux, débarbouillette, miroir pour se maquiller). Seules 2 serviettes étaient à notre disposition.

Les propriétaires très antipathiques.
Nous nous sommes croisés à l’arrivée et au départ et aucun bonjour pas de sourire, comme si nous n’étions pas présents.

Vous devez savoir que c’est une maison où vivent les propriétaires avec un très jeune enfant. Les chambres du haut ont été converties pour la location.

Bon emplacement, M. très gentil.

Cons:

Pas de serviette dans la salle de bain ... Sinon, un peu gênant de devoir passé par le même entrée que la famille qui y habite. Beaucoup de bruit causé par les jeunes enfants.
