Serene quiet environment,
Lovely accommodation, fabulous staff and wonderful welcome.
The ambience, location and the facilities
Name of staff Lilian. She could improve on being a professional. She is straight up rude!
The location and the environment is great.
The prices indicated on booking.com aren't the same as the price you are told when you go house booking
Good location, most of the staff were friendly, courteous and professional and I was well looked after. The room was large and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was very nice and generous portions. Lots of lovely places to sit in the grounds and enjoy the lovely surroundings
It seems to be mostly aimed at families with kids, so when I arrived the pool was busy and a birthday party was going on. If you want a relaxing day by the pool or peace and quiet, this is not the place. I was only staying one night and walked up to the shoppung centre so it was not an issue, but if I had been staying longer it would have been.
Sadly my relaxing evening I had planned before my early departure ended with me going to bed early as one of the waiters spent the evening trying to hustle me, give me his number etc - really not appreciated as a female solo traveller. I left at 0500 so did not get the opportunity to speak to the team, I am confident however that the guy on reception would have dealt with it as he was very helpful and professional.
The facility comes with Maasai Mara vibes
The food is a little pricey but again very yummy so you get the value for money
Loved the tent set up. Very cozy bed and nature around.
Very limited breakfast buffet options…. The staff were kind just very slow service. Also the shower was cold
Location, service by the waiter(checking on us and polite)
Service by the front staff(was not attentive and was a bit dismissive even on calls while making the booking, she should train on proper customer service etiquette), very slow and underwhelming food service(high food prices not matching quality or quantity), amenities. Good spot for family. It’s not good for couples.
Convenient location to mall, grocery store and easy Uber access, yet quiet, serene and cozy.
Nancy and Morgan were professional and excellent hosts.
I will definitely be back again.
The tented rooms are beautiful and lovely to stay in
Hot water equipment not basic and hot water flow rate was quite low. Not a major problem, but a better system could make the lovely shower more enjoyable, especially in winter
Beautiful garden in a quiet part of Karen while being very close to the main roads. Fantastically attentive staff. Lots of amenities available. The water pressure and hot water availability was above standard for Nairobi 😊. Very good value for money if you want to stay around Karen/Ngong. Highly recommended !
A small leak on one of the bathrooms (will probably be fixed quite quickly.) some of the rooms can be a bit dark and dull particularly in winter (June/July).
Spacious room with clean bathroom
