ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! WE WILL BE BACK!
Pros:

My husband and I LOVED Skyview Igloos! We loved how close it was to the Rovaniemi airport (15-20 minutes) and other popular tourist attractions. The igloo blew us away - the furnishings, the bed and igloo above us, the bathroom was so top notch, the private jacuzzi spa outside and sauna inside, the mini kitchenette (able to buy groceries from market and heat up in room), the spiral stairs, heated windows, TV downstairs, etc. The staff were so accommodating and were a simple WhatsApp text away if we had questions. They were even able to coordinate us a private photographer! The daily breakfasts were soooo delicious, healthy, and filling! There's parking for rental car. The property itself was absolutely stunning and we got the best view of the forest. We wish we could've stayed longer, but definitely feel like we got our money's worth!

Cons:

- The resort opened in November 2025 and our igloo windows had tape on it and some cracks already
- The privacy curtains on the igloo windows were funky to move and could have been all in one fabric to have the best view.
- I wish the resort had more meal options besides just breakfast. You're on your own for lunch and dinner!
- I wish they had a shuttle service to the city center or airport
- I wish they had a welcome app (like another popular resort) where you can schedule when you'd like room service or pass that day, when you need a ride, or if you're interested in activities and when. I think that would help the loop of communication so much!
- Add a large button to go off or a chime in the bedroom when the auroras are above you!
- Hot chocolate station as well as coffee station
- Add a fan in the room, cause it does get hot up there!
- A guest had a drone that would hover over our igloo at times, and we thought it was an invasion of privacy. We would've liked a heads up by the staff first!

Sehr sauber und luxuriös. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück sehr lecker aber hätte abwechslungsreicher sein können. Ausstattung sehr gut: eigene Sauna und Whirlpool, Rituals Shampoo, Duschgel, Seife und Spülung. Bademantel und Handtücher jeden Tag frisch. Küche mit allen Geräten. Jeden Tag wurde Kaffee, Tee und Zucker aufgefüllt und das Zimmer außergewöhnlich sauber aufgeräumt. Das Bett war sehr bequem.

Cons:

Leider war die Treppe beschädigt und sehr laut. Die Balkontüre war leider auch beschädigt und man konnte sie manchmal schwer öffnen war auch sehr laut. Kein Sichtschutz am Balkon. Lichtschalter war auch beschädigt. Frühstück war sehr gut aber leider jeden Tag das gleiche. Kaum platz zum Essen, da Tisch leider sehr klein.

Nearly perfect with some hiccups
Pros:

Gorgeous rooms, well appointed, friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping did fantastic work, and the location away from the busy town center feels like a sanctuary

Cons:

Still working out some kinks since they’ve just opened a couple of months ago. Overheated in the rooms and was unable to get it to a cool consistent temperature. Pipe leaked into the kitchen onto our food, but it was very quickly fixed. Additionally while you cannot control guests, the lighting from the outside of other igloos (or from the igloo themselves) got in the way of lights viewing past the 11pm lights off/quiet hours.

Some minor design flaws as well, such as one person having to roll over their partner to escape the bed to go to the bathroom at night, since there was no way for the person on that side to get out
