Nice historical place to stay but a bit overrated
Pros:

Very nice building with history. Very helpful and friendly personel and good level of services provided. Also the hotel has an amazing location in a walking distance to all main things you might want to see in Paris and metro stations are also very close to the hotel.

Cons:

The breakfast is not really a 5-star hotel level - it's good but just not the one you expect to have in a 5-star hotel. Also I indicated that we were traveling with a 10-year old child but an extra bed was not prepared in advance. Our room had a pretty old renovation and, for example, the door to the toilet would not close normally - and this is not very convenient when you live with two other people in one room.

It’s a beautiful looking hotel, however will not book again due to the discomfort of the facilities.
Pros:

Location and decor and vibe of the hotel.

Cons:

No AC. It was not working! The bed mattress was horrible. I have to order an extra bed, and I was surprised that they charged me!! Thought the mattress really felt old and overused !!

Excellent dîner dans le jardin
Pros:

Encore un super séjour à l'hôtel Alfred Sommier ! Cette fois, nous y avons dîné avec des amis et avons passé une excellente soirée. En plus, nous avons pu profiter du jardin, on s'y sent toujours aussi bien !

Fabulous stay in this beautiful hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. You can sit in the conservatory or out side. Nice choice but not huge. location was great. So easy to walk to all the tourist sites etc

Cons:

The air con could have been cooler. Although it was 36c the weekend we were there so I expect it was just over stretched.

Mon séjour à l’hôtel Alfred Sommier a été absolument fabuleux! Nous y séjournions à l’occasion de l’anniversaire de mon épouse, et le personnel s’est montré d’une attention remarquable et a rendu ce moment encore plus spécial. Nous avons même eu la chance de visiter l’hôtel et de découvrir son histoire passionnante!

Pour ce second séjour, nous avons particulièrement apprécié toutes les petites attentions de l’hôtel: les produits Guerlain mis à disposition, les madeleines offertes à notre arrivée... Je ne peux que recommander cet établissement pour vivre une expérience cinq étoiles
