Amazing Skyline Views, However, hotel needs some TLC!

hotel staff very courteous, great to walk to all locations which makes it an ideal place to stay. Great roopf top with a spledid view of the Hudson and the NYC skyline. AMAZING

Cons:

We chose this hotel in Hell Kitchen, having stayed at this hotel for several years now, for the main reason to be away from the large masses of people and traffic when compared to Broadway and / Time Square hotels. During our 3 night stay, there was lots of police action and loud disturbances in and around the hotel mostly overnight. In the past the hotel offered wine served during 6-8pm on the side of the elevators, matter of fact the bar is still there but empty. Morning coffee was also offered, but no more. The facilities need some TLC... With regards to our room, Small details require some attention such as: The bathroom glass door the handle was off it hinges, secondly, the shower needed a good scrubbing, complimentary water on your first day would be great!

Zimmer war sauber, gut eingerichtet und Hotel sowie die Dachterasse war schön.

Cons:

-Mitarbeiter an der Reception waren gröstenteils sehr unfreundlich, arrogant und frech.
-Alle anderen Mitarbeiter waren freundlich!
-Ohne zu informieren wurden wir bei Ankunft in ein schlechteres Zimmer eingecheckt als gebucht (über ein halbes Jahr im Voraus gebucht). Wir haben eine Lösung gefunden und sie sagten uns wir bekommen die Steuern und Gebühren vom ganzen Aufenthalt zurück.
-Leider haben wir wie versprochen diese Rückerstattung nie bekommen obwohl wir alles schriftlich beweisen konnten. Der Kundendienst von Booking hatte beim Hotel leider auch kein Erfolg.

Für mich ist das Verhalten und der Umgang mit Kunden inakzeptabel! Wir werden dieses Hotel nie mehr Buchen.

Vielen Dank an das Team vom Kundendienst von Booking.com! Dank Ihnen habe ich den Betrag zurückbekommen, der leider über die Kasse von Ihnen läuft... wäre eigentlich der Job des Hotels gewesen.
