Bubblefish Water Villa

Really impressive stay from start to finish. The views are stunning and the whole place is incredibly quiet and peaceful, which makes it very easy to fully switch off. The room was beautiful - well designed, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. The food was also very good (Chinese style) and consistently well prepared. What stood out most was the team - King, Kang, and Andy are fantastic. They are warm, attentive, and genuinely care, which creates a very relaxed, family-like atmosphere while still being highly organised. We also did a reef dive which was excellent - very professional, smooth, and well run. Overall, everything feels thoughtfully managed. A true hidden gem and easily one of the best places in the area. Would definitely recommend.

We also did a reef dive which was a highlight - highly professional, smooth execution, and excellent service throughout. The entire experience feels considered and well run. A genuine hidden gem, and notably better than other villas in the area. Strongly recommend.

Amazing location with great views, very friendly and caring staff, good food, nice reef right by the hotel for snorkeling.

Friendly helpful staff

Wonderful, new property. Everything in great condition, attentive staff and amazing service. Great meals everyday, and the staff were always friendly and helpful with good advice. Mohammad Alrad was an fabulous and courteous host, always assisting with our queries and helping with travel guidance. An asset to Bubblefish. Highly recommended for a stay - especially if you love snorkeling and scuba diving - some of the best reefs and dive spots in Borneo in close proximity.

Everything

It's a unique experience staying at this beautiful resort which is basically a platform with 8 water villas in the middle of the sea, surrounded by crystal clear water, star fish, turtles and other marine life. The staff is super hospitable. There will be Bajau people selling fresh seafood by boat. Andy, the manager was very helpful in bargaining and checking on the items for us and the kitchen is available to cook these fresh seafood free of charge.

Almost everything. The place is beautiful, clean, and new. The staff was nice, smiling and seemed to enjoy working there. They were doing karaoke with the guests in the evening... Looks like a good atmosphere. The rooms were clean. The view from the room is amazing. It's a quiet place beside a few boats in the morning. The lunch and dinner were good, seemed homemade and fresh. The shared and open area is very nice, with a slide to the water and a net to rest above the water.
A bit pricey but I really recommend it.

The staff was very helpful and the snorkeling experience was great. If the food could be better, it would be perfect!
