Cons:

First of all, the room was far too loud. The room was facing a very busy road and you could hear basically everything going on on the streets - if you go bring ear plugs with you.

Secondly, bathroom privacy not given. The bathroom was directly open to the room and only seperated by the hallway with wooden slats. Making everyone - other hotel guests and staff - also hearing you being on the toilet. Also, you need to bring your own hair dryer if you need one.

In addition, we had booked a room with a private jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi was clearly visible from the street. At one point, a stranger stood by the fence and stared directly at us while we were in the jacuzzi, which was extremely unsettling. When this incident occurred, there was no one available at reception, so we had to contact Booking.com for assistance. To date, no one from the hotel has reached out to us regarding this matter.

Furthermore, the whirlpool water was excessively hot, to the point that it was not possible to enjoy it properly. Overall, the lack of privacy and the absence of on-site support during a serious incident were very disappointing.

All in all we payed way too much for the value we got, which is pretty disappointing.

Beautiful, clean, and great location!
Pros:

Our stay at Marakame was nothing short of amazing! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Short walk to a beautiful beach. On a generally quite street. Highlight was undoubtably the pool; warm, pristine and cleaned often. Roof top yoga space is going to be really nice once completed. The worst part was having to leave!

Great peaceful tranquil location with comfortable beds and LARGE rooms
Pros:

Location is further from the action and beach which is what I was looking for. Peaceful tranquil and I can easily walk within 5 minutes to the town and 9 minutes to beach. Main San Pancho can be noisy! Very comfortable beds with fluffy comforters. Wonderfully working ACs. Large room with nice day bed for hang out. Kitchenette with sink. Beautiful boho Tulum style chic.

Cons:

They need a few more trash cans. They have a kitchenette with no trash there also no bulb in kitchen area it's dark. Also would be nice to have some utensils if it's a kitchenette. In addition, kinda silly their windows in the bathroom are open just with wooden shutters so not great bathroom privacy if you're doing your business and people are walking around the hallways I would recommend they add a glass. Also, for the noise we had to close the door to prevent bugs and noise. Also need towel hangers in the bathroom. But those were very minor to me considering! I very much would stay here again.

Pros:

Las instalaciones del hotel fueron lo mejor, la alberca esta muy bonita y esta climatizada, el lobby y areas comunes muy bien. La ubicación se me hizo muy buena, a solo unas cuadras de la playa. Tiene restaurantes y tiendas cerca.

Cons:

Lo único que no me gustó es que no tenga televisión en la habitación y las almohadas un poco incomodas.

Pros:

Very nicely designed new boutique hotel in San Pancho. Very well run and kind staff. Comfortable clean rooms. I reserved a basic room on Booking.com, but after half my stay they upgraded me to a suite which was insanely beautiful and private.

Cons:

There is no food service in the hotel.

I would love to return to this hotel again, it was wonderful.
Pros:

The location was wonderfully close to everything, primarily the beach and the main street, and yet quietly tucked away in a lovely neighbourhood with it's own incredible eateries and conveniences. ( bank machine, laundry service, tour company) It was beautifully designed for comfort and serenity with a garden pool and jet pool. The staff were very gracious, kind and helpful. Icing on the cake - hotel is a stone's throw away from Cafe Floresta and the best french toast you'll ever have.

Cons:

There was problem with the wifi the first day, but the staff addressed this and there were no problems after that.
