Pros:

The hotel is brand new. Good location, excellent onsen.

Cons:

Absolitely no place to hang the towels or anything else. Very weird.

Modern hotel with great onsen
Pros:

Modern and very clean hotel, near train station. Onsen great with a shared pool, sauna, plunge pool. Also single sex traditional onsen. Breakfast was good and included machine espresso.

Cons:

No shelving for clothes or hooks for swimwear and towels. Only hook was in shower which was very impractical. This is a small concern but with everything else so well appointed this practical aspect was obvious. Also no light switch at door entrance- had to find one at bed head- once again small but unusual

Pros:

Sobretot el tracte, ho han explicat tot molt bé. L'habitació molt espaiosa pels estàndards de Japó i l'esmorzar variat i molt bo. Hi ha paraigües a l'entrada per disposar lliurement. A certes hores hi ha menjar i beure gratis com a detall. El bany també estava molt bé.

Cons:

El bany termal disposa de zona mixta, que cal banyador. Si no ho saps prèviament potser no en portes.

Pros:

Tuvimos una muy buena estadía. Me encantó el diseño del hotel, moderno, cuidado y con mucho estilo. La ubicación es muy buena y cómoda para recorrer la ciudad. El desayuno también nos gustó mucho, completo y de muy buena calidad. Y una mención especial para el Onsen que está buenísimo! Un espacio ideal para relajarse después de un día de paseo. En general, una experiencia muy agradable y un hotel que sin duda recomendaría.

Excellent, easy mid range hotel with a good breakfast and a great public bath.
Pros:

This is a upper mid range hotel in a great location, 5minutes from JR and bus stations, and 20minute walk into the main town centre sites. The room was very clean, well presented and equipped. The on site public bath was excellent, clean, hot and rarely crowded. The breakfast was ample and tasty. The evening bar and food offering (if you chose to stay in) was pretty basic and relatively pricey. In summary it was a great choice for a comfortable, easy stay with a wonderful soak at the end of a long day sightseeing.

The evening bar/food offering was pretty basic and expensive.

I would also recommend a few English language TV news stations (BBC world, CNN etc) in the room

Heerlijke baden. Dichtbij station Takayama voor uitstapjes, Takayama zelf was te voet goed bereikbaar. Ze hielpen bij het versturen van onze koffers.

Me gustó todo. El hotel genial, las habitaciones grandes, el personal muy amable, el desayuno muy bueno y tiene tanto comida japonesa como occidental. Además, te prestan paraguas por si llueve. Y lo más importante, a 5 minutos de la estación de Takayama.

View from the onsen was sublime! Easy to walk to from the station and easy to walk to the sites of Takayama from there. Comfy beds. Great staff.
