Pros:

The pool

Cons:

My very noisy room They would move me to a lesser room but no compensation or the same room but with a beach view for 250 more dollars. The man who showed us to our rooms was rude and the only smile he had was on a button on his shirt

La piscina y las vistas. Ubicación algo alejada del ambiente, recomendable si quieres estancia tranquila. la habitación tiene buen tamaño para 3 personas.

Cons:

El desayuno bastante flojo. fuimos en temporada baja y estaban reformando, así que no valoro más.

We had a lovely and cozy stay at Smile Samui and would love to come back!
Pros:

We loved the stay in the suite with the private pool. Biggest plus was the view from the bedroom and the private pool . it had an amazing view of the sea. . The suite had plenty of space , it was clean, beautiful and most of all very homely. Mai at the reception was very friendly and helpful. She quickly attended to all our requests including arranging bike rent, and arranging taxis to airport. Overall we had calm and relaxing place at this hotel and would love to come back.

Cons:

At certain nights , during our stay there was a middle aged male at the reception with no other reception staff around and when looking for help, he was dismissive and rude to us . It was only a minor drawback during our stay but thought its better even at night if there could be someone more friendly and responsible at the desks for the guests to communicate with.

Really nice hotel and stuff and recommend staying here
Pros:

Nice resort tucked away at the of Chaweng’s beautiful beaches. Really big bedroom and balcony. Everything was super clean and very comfortable - even the sunbeds around the pool.

Cons:

It was further out of town than we thought. We love walking on the beaches so it suited us. There are many beautiful resorts on the beach to drop into for a refreshment. We used Grab whenever we wanted to go to town. Many others hired scooters.

Great pool
Pros:

Pool area was great, staff were very friendly.

Cons:

There was just a hand held shower in the spa bath which was really odd. The air-conditioning took a while to cool down but the bed was comfy and the view was lovely.

Not worth it
Pros:

Didn’t really like anything, was below average on 95% of what anyone would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Cons:

The walls are so thin you can hear everything, couldn’t sleep because of the people above me. Not to mention the hotel did not tell me there was construction going on so good luck trying to rest during that time. Bed was so firm I woke up with back-aches in the middle of the night because of my herniated disc. The AC barely cooled the room when I had it on max. My balcony which I paid extra for was blocked by street wires so the view was almost non existent. No phones to the reception, when you go down PRAY you see an employee. For a 4-star hotel, getting a physical key for BOTH the room and the SAFE sounds insane to me. Also bed sheets were not clean when I arrived and the wall sockets were ALL bad, either just fall when I touch them or the switches are finicky and don’t work.
