Great weekend stay! Fantastic location!
Pros:

I love the location and the facilities are very nice. I loved having the full kitchen, washer, and dryer.

Cons:

The flooring in the apartment was concrete. It looked like it wasn’t finished but maybe the owner was going for an industrial look. Either way, a sealant for the concrete is needed but I prefer flooring. Concrete just looks unfinished and not clean even though it is clean.

I had to call several times to guarantee your credit card that was active and it had been used before I then was billed $60 for a charge. Apparently Customer Service is international now for booking.com… I had no issues? I should not have had to pay to be on hold to just confirm that my credit card was active and pay $60…

Will definitely stay at Placemakr during my next trip to Huntsville Mid-City!
Pros:

The location was excellent! There are so many things to do and places to eat/drink around Placemakr at Anthem House Mid-City. We could see Top Golf from our room, and all the restaurants were within a few steps, and Trader Joe's was within walking distance. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. It was perfect for us!

Cons:

Negatives- Although there was an attached covered parking garage, my room was far from where we had to park to use it, so if I needed something from the car or had to make two trips to unload/load, it was a hassle, but not a dealbreaker. There were a couple of issues with the apartment, but they were easy fixes. There was an outlet near the kitchen sink (behind the coffee pot) that was not secured in the wall, which might be a safety hazard. I did leave a word with the front desk, so hopefully, that will be repaired. There were also no coat hangers, so next time, I guess I will bring my own. It would have also been nice if there were a second chair or a small sofa to sit on while sipping coffee and enjoying the view. We only had one chair for both my husband and me. These are minor concerns and preferences that are easily remedied!

Air bnb vibe with the convenience of a hotel
Pros:

Staff was wonderful. It was like staying in an air bnb with the convenience of a hotel. Walkable too.

Cons:

Everything was great, except the mattress was way too firm.
