The room was clean and the location was good, but the poor communication ruined the entire stay. I paid extra for a booking that supposedly included early check-in and late check-out, yet the host completely ignored my inquiries for a month. I only received a response a few hours before arrival, demanding an additional £40 for the early check-in. Furthermore, every interaction consisted mostly of automated messages filled with threats of penalties, such as warnings about charges for soiled towels or unapproved late check-outs, which felt passive-aggressive.
The room itself is microscopic; you cannot even fully open the bathroom door because the bed is in the way. The boiler is unreliable, oscillating between scalding and freezing, and the TV selection is nearly non-existent. I could have overlooked the physical flaws if Roberto's communication hadn't been so unprofessional.

The shower was leaking slightly, out onto the floor and soaking the bath mat.

Je kreeg 20% korting bij de overnachting. het voelde eerder aan als een air bnb ipv een hotel.
Het matras was zeer zacht hier moet je wel rekening mee houden als je liever een iets steviger matras hebt/gewoon bent.

SECURITY & SAFETY : Context is that all access at the facility is digital codes and no physical keys or card. When I arrived I successfully accessed the front door without issue. However, when I came to access my assigned room (2) via the provided access code I disturbed a couple already in the room. There was embarrassment on both sides. However, the gentlemen then communicated that he had been given digital access codes to 2 rooms (2 & 4). He shared the code for room 4 and I used this room for the duration (1 night) of my stay. I found this situation totally unacceptable and would like an answer to why another guest should be given digital access codes to 2 rooms. It left me unsettled and thinking of the Travelodge court case. I am so glad it was not a female going through this experience. I put the ironing board against the lock and have to say had a broken nights sleep. Suffice it to say I will not be using this hotel again. Additionally the the hot water in the shower either ran extremely hot for 30 secs and then went cold. No safety notice as to the water temperature which I would guess exceeds 70 degrees Celsius and would cause scolding and burns on a young person. Please can you investigate as the hotel processes and procedures need to be improved. I did attempt to ring the hotel but was met by an answering machine and did not leave a message.

Very hard to gain access and poor communication from the property.
