Accommodating staff and clean
Pros:

Very nice stuff very clean.

Cons:

Needs more loungers by the beach that you can actually use without having to buy from the restaurant. If I had known that in advance, I probably would not have stayed there.

Shower worked, as did toilet
volleyball court if someone organizes and has a ball
they offer some activities, but again, these aren't communicated well and seem more like an afterthought.
Many signs around the property about activities but in the week I was there, almost all were inaccurate or outdated, so, misleading.
Playa norte is a 10-15min walk. Veryyy touristic beach but with nice water and dozens of boats anchored.

Cons:

Room for improvement:
It's a large hostel and there is a lack of facilities for the number of guests. Kitchen small for size of hostel and with very outdated dishes / appliances. 1 of 2 stoves didn't work.
Rooms' design difficult in large rooms to move and function.
Charging socket very loose so charger wouldn't stay in.
AC units need cleaning - unpleasant smell in room from them
Nowhere to hang wet clothes. Asked staff and they shrugged; so, everyone leaves wet clothes in the room and start to smell.
If guests leave extra food, it 'disappears' to the staff, rather than being added to the common food items. Having some basics like oil, salt and pepper would be nice.
Staff was hit or miss - some were nice, some couldn't be bothered.
Be aware - loud music at the restaurant/bar attached to the property until late at night most nights.
Lack of explanation that the bar and the hotel are separate so they won't let you use the chairs etc without a minimum consumption amount.
I don't think they offered free luggage storage

Good for a cheap stay, dont bring anything valuable.

Staff was just not friendly, somewhat taking us for granted.

Cons:

WE wanted to check in, and without even checking, the answer was right away - NO, we don't have place. Without even checking. On the day of check out they locked us out of the room an hour early. When I asked why they said that how the system is. SO CHANGE THE SYSTEM!!! I had to go back and forward twice to get my room opened when it is not check out time yet. I asked to talk with the manager "he isn't here" I said I Know he is here, and they called them...
First they sa "no" to everything,

Also, I excpect at this price to have hot water in the room! not to much to ask for
