Pros:

Nice pool area, kids area and gym. Apartments stylish and spacious. Had beach stuff you could use which was nice.

Cons:

Restaurant not great. We had a key issue and no staff around to give us access to the room for a while. Also did not have a cot even though we booked for a 1 year old which was very annoying

Picture perfect but still working out some kinks.
Pros:

The apartments are decorated beautifully. The property is very clean and overall lovely. Beds and lounge furniture were exceptionally comfortable. The lounge area by the pool is amazing. So comfortable and shaded.

Cons:

While the apartments are decorated beautifully, more care should be taken to make sure they function as designed. The dishwasher wasn’t actually installed and so would tip out if you loaded the top rack and pulled it out. Water pressure in the showers is super low because they went with fancy rain showers. It would be better to have an efficiency shower head. Dryer vent installed upside down. No smoke detectors or CO2 monitors in the apartment. Had to make requests multiple times for things like extra toilet paper (ended up buying our own). The pool is heated but doesn’t need to be as hot. I’d save the power and turn the heater down.

Brand new community worth an extended visit
Pros:

This is a new community and everything in our unit was beautiful. We were right off the pool with a large balcony that had a covered table and chairs for outdoor dining that was perfect for us to get out of the heat but still be outside.

The unit itself was gorgeous. Really comfortable furniture and full kitchen. The kids club and gym were also really nice. The pool is amazing. The pool has a bench all the way around for sitting and a large flat area for lounging. Plus a separate kids splash pad off to the side. Really good mix of sun and shade at the pool. And bonus full outdoor table, living room sets, couch loungers all along the pool covered so you have shady spots all around. There’s also ping pong, pool, and fooseball next to the pool house snack area that we also used.

Cons:

It is still under construction but the noise was very minimal and didn’t bother us at all. We really had no other complaints.

Great hotel to relax and enjoy San Jose del cabo!
Pros:

This hotel was such a great spot for our family trip to San José del Cabo. The hotel room was spacious, the kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook tons during the week we were there. The pool and kids room were great for our 1 year old. (We LOVED the shallow section of the pool.) The staff is friendly enough and attentive to requests. They do an amazing job keeping the pool and hang out areas very well maintained. We rented a car during our trip and the parking was very easy. Big thumbs up. we would come back here for sure.

Cons:

The restaurant was limited ( but still offered simple things like Nachos and beer.) The hotel construction was not bad, we only one of the days during our week visit did we notice it in our room. Mostly we heard vague construction noise while we were hanging out at the pool. (nothing that was loud and intrusive to our relaxing.) I'd say the location would be a bit of a bummer if you didn't have a car, not a ton to walk to around the hotel. but very quick to get to downtown or grocery stores.

excelentes instalaciones aunque el restaurante aun tiene una cara muy limitada y solo atiende una persona que con todo su esfuerzo atiende a los comensales presentes.

Fantastic stay!
Pros:

This was an exceptional stay. Pedro G. was absolutely amazing -- attentive, kind and considerate. The property looked exactly like the photos listed or actually better. The shared pool, fully-equipped gym and sauna were fantastic; the unit is close to restaurants (3m drive), extremely clean and quiet and just a delight. Will definitely recommend to anyone and stay here again.

A great home base for exploring the cape and relaxing by the pool
Pros:

Great amenities, friendly staff, safe and secure property, parking included, well equipped apartment, spacious bedrooms and living spaces, walking distance to some restaurants and shopping. The property was not busy so it felt like we had the pool to ourselves.

Cons:

Some construction noise (hammering, power tools) during the day but not near our unit. Not enough to bother us even when we were there.

I was drawn by the design of the property and prices. Overall speaking this property provided what I expected. Love the design and texture decor in the unit.

Cons:

The road construction outside the property could last for another year, what could have been a 10 minutes walk to the major shopping center, made us had to call Uber every time.

Need some pest control, lots of mosquitoes.

Nice place, some growing pains.
Pros:

Casa Nima is a lovely renovation of an old Howard Johnson hotel, and it's architecturally very nice. The staff are kind and helpful, though not always super fast to reply to requests. We found the beds comfortable and the facilities nice, but it was missing things. We had no trash bins in some bathrooms, and there was a patio with a concrete lounger space that was clearly missing its pillow. You can't get top marks with misses like that.
