Arrived got rooms went out came back slept woke late, nice day ahead
Pros:

Didn’t have the breakfast as we were running late. Parking was great rooms were good value for money, really nice location with bars n restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly and got a free upgrade too, which is always nice.
So yeah all in all great hotel, thank you.

Cons:

Nothing really can’t think of anything that irked me at the time.

Disgustingly dirty rooms

We arrived at the hotel , with no one on reception and waited for 20 mins after a 7 hour drive. We were allocated a room on 5th floor. On arrival in the room we noticed a damp musty smell. We looked in the bathroom and the bath panel was split in 2 with a large crack from top to bottom. Health and safety issues if getting out of the bath.

Spoke with reception, who said they would upgrade us to a lovely room with an ensuite on the lower floor. The further we walked to the room. The smell of damp became stronger. On arrival at the room, it was very dirty!! Food marks all up the walls, window frame filthy. The bin was dirty and the unit. The floor had not been hoovered as there was popcorn debris in the carpet. The bathroom was thick with black mold along the grout. They had a red light in there to try and disguise the true extent of the dirt. We sat on the bed and could feel the springs in the mattress, we pulled the sheets back to find the mattress protector covered in large urine stains and a strong smell.

We went to reception to complain and show him the room. He became very defensive when we showed him the stains and asked why we had moved the sheets. We left shortly after. Still trying to get a refund. It was a nightmare!!

Horrendous. £187 for one night? Worst value ever.
Pros:

It was in a lovely location on the outskirts of Liverpool city

Cons:

The room was run down, mould everywhere, peeling wallpaper, window that wouldn’t shut, and FREEZING COLD water for the shower. They clearly hadn’t turned the boiler on.
