This hotel is a listed building and consequently is unsuitable for disabled guests. There are no ground floor rooms and the elevator only operates from the first floor accessible after climbing one flight of stairs.

Lovely hotel, near to town centre and great view across Oban. Staff very friendly and professional
Not anything just a missing handle on window so couldn’t actually close the window tight which was fine for us as weather was nice but for anybody staying in Room 31 when weather a bit rough might struggle. Went to tell reception when checking out but no sign of anybody, waited 5 mins and then left my room key card and headed away.
The room wasn't available due to no electric and no kitchen when we arrived so we were diverted to a sister hotel after driving 3 miles out of our way. The room was tiny and not very clean at all. There were no chairs. The shower was pokey and way too small. The hotel was unkempt and dirty. It was noisy and we were had to endure someone banging on a door trying to wake someone up for at least half an hour at 5.30am unsuccessfully and then again half an hour later. No parking

Room was basic, curtains didn’t fit the window but were changed when I spoke to reception. Shower ok, not great.

Staff were friendly
Walls were very thin, uncomfortable bed and the maintenance employee was banging fixing a door at 2am and I couldn’t get back to sleep.

Lift not working & no restaurant closed ? , made life difficult for my colleague he as difficulty getting about with bad knees.
Good location, good breakfast (menu of cooked breakfast options plus a buffet with toast, pastries, coffee, etc). The room had a small en suite with a toilet and shower/bath tub. The lounge area was cosy and nicely furnished.
The room was a long way from the reception, up two sets of stairs. The car park out the front of the hotel was full, we found paid parking on the street instead.

There were stains on the bed sheet
There was no shower mat
The sink plug was clearly for a different sink
The tv remote didn't work despite my going back and forth to reception from the room four times and it still didn't work!
The breakfast was poor and only luke warm
The poor receptionist had had a bad day. The person who was on the desk when we checked out asked if everything was ok and when I said not really he just smiled. He didn't understand English.
First of all the lift was out of order. my wife is 84 and I am 85 and our room was on the 4th floor !. The dining room was out of action for dinner and the tv controller was not working when we got to our room, but this was repaired. All in all, I think that some form of reparation is not unreasonable.
Bed was comfy . Room was clean

Měli jsme rezervovaný 2 pokoje s oddělenými postelemi pro 4 lidi. Paní recepční nám dala jeden jednolůžkový pokoj a druhý s manželskou postelí. Bylo nám řečeno, že jiné pokoje nemají. Po dlouhém dohadování nám recepční dala pokoje co jsme měli rezervovaný a zaplacený přes booking.
