Great hotel that topped off our stay in Oban

Great hotel with a nice bar and restaurant. Free to play pool table

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Amazing value for money . Booked the Queen Mary suite for 1 night with girlfriend and we were blown away with it. Separate living room for chilling with massive TV and everything you need. Bedroom was beautiful and the jacuzzi bath was a lovely adder extra. Food was very tasty we had the set menu dinner and bed and breakfast both had burger with chips cooked lovely big portions too. Breakfast next morning full Scottish and all the continental stuff. Was abit quiet due to time of year not hotels fault. Staff continued to check everything was ok throughout stay which was very nice. Perfect location and amazing views . Cracking pint of Stella aswell. Can not fault this place and we will be back to stay again in the future. Stayed in many places and this tops the lot for value for money

Great staff, cumphy bed.
Pros:

Was on a long drive and was tired, booked last minute just to rest. Staff were brilliant and very helpful. Hotel although dated is spotless and I will definitely stay next time I actually plan a trip ahead to Oban.

Cons:

The television in the room was in a strange position.

The staff were brilliant. Very warm,welcoming and attentive.

Cons:

The pump onnthe bar were not working properly, so sadly couldn't have a drink before heading out in to the town.

Cons:

Hotel is run down. Went into room 21 and it was stinking of putty/vinegar. Requested to change room and then put into a suite. No tv remote so had to ask for one, bed was very uncomfortable, was put right beside the extraction unit so was very loud. Hoovering the hall at 5:45am on a Sunday morning. Personally wouldn’t stay here again.
